"Oh crap it's shooting at me!" I told myself. All I needed is to turn left on the end of the street, which wasn't that long.
"Ugh..I wish had tea, and coffee." I was pretty much still waking up. Not the greatest way to wake up.
Quickly I stopped the car, looked let, then right. "Go!" I turned off the street onto the main road. Only a few seconds later seeing a flash of light zip right past me. I gasped for air a second.
Not too far away was a coffee shop, and too my surprise from on top of the hill, there was no one in the line up in the drive-through.
Zipping down the hill I pulled in as fast as I could. Looking behind me a second I could see the line of destruction following me, getting closer. This is a risk, but it could also save me later on.
"Hello there may I take your order?" the voice of a man said.
" One large green tea, and large coffee with 2 creams, and one sugar please," I said trying to calm the hell down, and not seem like we are in danger.
" Alright drive up then." It said again.
I drove up to the window. ' Okay ____ swallow the bone-chilling look on my face.' I didn't want to freak the workers out, but I felt so bad for them.
A woman opened the window saying hi. Quickly I paid for the drinks. " How's ur day?" She asked. I swallowed. " Honestly, there is something really bad coming this way. We are all in danger. Please go." I warned her. Her eyes went wide as she stuck her head out to look behind. her eyes widen in shock. Buildings breaking, and the evil cyborgs making their way closer to us.
"Oh god.." She gasped. "I wish you luck." I smiled at her. Quickly I drove off. I looked behind me seeing the workers scatter out of the store, running for their lives to their cars.
I didn't know where I was gonna go. The highway at the moment was the best option. Thankfully it was really close by. Turning right as I picked up my coffee and started gulping it down. Getting onto the ramp of the highway I stepped on the peddle really hard. 100, 120. My car sped up.
Looking into the back mirror once again, I noticed they were closer to me. " Come on! I have this for now. Go go!" This was so bad. I gulped down the coffee some more, the next being the tea.
Suddenly in the blink of a eye, a large flash of light flew towards me, and others near me that were fleeing just as I. "NO!" I shout. There was like no chance I could avoid it. I quickly slammed the breaks pulling over to the side of the road. Bitting farewell to my poor car. I grabbed my keys and bag with everything inside. I began to run for my life down the countryside. I only had about a few seconds till that bullet was gonna hit.
Then it happened. BOOOOm!! crash!!
Cars went flying as many exploded. It was soo loud it nearly gave me a heart attack. But there was one problem. The explosions force was coming right at me as I ran as far as I could away. I could see the evil cyborgs bolting this direction shooting, destroying cars.
" Oh no no!" I shout to myself. " IS there no one! That can help me!!? ANYone! please!!!" I plead, about to duck down and try to shield myself from the falling debris.
"Ooof!" I land on my stomach, as scrap metal flies over the top of me. Dirt flying into the air. " Ugh..." I groan. Feeling something was off. Something stung on my leg and arms. I could barely move as I look down. Red.., blood. It cut me, and the cyborgs were getting dangerously close to me. They knew I was fleeing from them, or tried too. "Tch...oww.. please.." I spoke out loud. "Someone or something! , help me!!." My head was pounding, it hurt so much.
My poor car blew up, along with the green tea I had to leave behind. Suddenly I heard a loud sound. Ching! The sound of metal being cut. I could hear voices.
Cyborgs.. and a lot of them.
Was someone..here...? to save me. " Ugh..please..help...I don't wanna die.." I bought it, as my vision blurred. I lay there in the metal-covered grass.
There was a voice, it was quiet to me as I couldn't hear much anymore. "H--E! ol! -- N!"
"W-what...?" A tear trickled down the side of my face.
My head crashed onto the ground. I went out could. Something was out there, was my last thought.
