Chapter 13

DELLA

I packed my belongings and was ready to go back to Elors. I literally spent the most colourful one month in my entire life. Now, it's all back to normal. It feels like I'm colourblind. I was colourblind for a while and he filled it with colours, now that he's gone, I'm back to colourblind. My life was filled with sorrow and depression. Meeting him was the only thing that made me truly happy. But knowing about him was something that made me truly sad. Thinking about him always me always laugh, blush and think about my future. Now, it makes me cry.
                  The carriage was about to take a turn to leave Arrdiva. But I told him to go another way. After a couple of minutes I got infront of the Fairley mansion in Arrdiva. It was guarded by two young soldiers. The queen appointed them. I am the only one who can get inside of this mansion. Everyone else in Fairley family is forbidden to enter the mansion. My dad wanted to live in this mansion but he couldn't. My sister hates me for this reason too. As they saw me they opened the gate for me. Every new guard for this mansion knows my face. Because my dad was ordered to give my portrait to the mansion. I was strictly prohibited from going inside the mansion by my dad. Also no one ever talked to me about Selene and Adonis Fairley. I guess their memories hurts the most. As a matter of truth, I don't remember anything except their death. I had a memory loss after the incident. It gave me a trauma for years. I was afraid of dark, couldn't sleep because of the incident, then I slowly found a liking to books and diverted my mind to studies. Weird thing is that I got a fever after the incident, after that I don't remember anything. I didn't even recognise my mom & dad. Dad told me not to come here so that my trauma is not triggered. But now It doesn't matter anymore.
                  I entered the mansion by opening it's big doors. It was still clean. I went upstairs to see their room but it was locked. Even the cleaners are not allowed in there. I saw our favourite spot , where Adonis would read piano and me and Selene listening to him, it is a big hall with a piano on the side and the opposite side was a balcony. I stepped out of the mansion and came back to Elors. I could see Sybil's mocking smile, because I came back. I didn't talk to anyone. I went to my room. I was unpacking the things then I remembered about it , when I was coming down from upstairs in the mansion, I slipped and almost fell. Then I heard a voice saying " Della be careful". I remembered something from my past. I sat on the stairs for sometime. Then I could clearly remember the scenario. I was running down towards Adonis and I almost fell. When Selene saw that she said me to be careful..... Then I said " I'm fine MOM ".
