Apparently, Siagrans did want an ambush. Ever since they made peace with us, they didn't want an attack that's gonna cost many lives but someone has an influence over the country other than the old King. According to Riham, many opposed this idea and were killed. Riham was also against this so they beat him up with low level soldiers. It is an ultimate level of insult to be beaten by a soldier that ranks nowhere near him. It was also in front of his family, in front of his little princess. He was insulted and was assigned to carry on this mission. He managed to escape with  his and other's family. Most of them were killed even before they departed from Siagra. The King has never shown his face in 3 months. His daughter is the one who's doing this all. Which doesn't make sense. She was the main source of the peace treaty with Dark valley and Siagra. As in Riham's inspection a man visits her now and then and has access to her room. Not a single guard is allowed to go there or stand in for protection. After a few visits she began to use her authority to plan against the dark valley.
                          Riham is worried about his queen. She was more like a sister to him. Even after the humiliation, he still wants to protect her. He has an undeniable loyalty towards her which his wife does not appreciate not after what his husband went through. Niek territory is a peaceful yet lonely place which the soldiers use to rest after long training sessions. It is surrounded by big trees and lots of monkeys. They're tricky and might steal your food but once an unknown person enters they scatter around making noise, which is more like an unpaid night guard. Some of the soldiers lost their entire family, and still chose to protect Riham's. He's not just a selfless warrior but also a good friend. His tattoo of Siagran symbol on his right arm looked like a badge of honour. A head portion of the horse symbol and fire symbol on four sides of the horse.
                         I gave him a place to stay and arranged for food. Della will be fine. Even though the uneasiness grows as time goes on, Kai is there. He'll protect her. Seon is in charge of the Siagrans in Neik territory. The hollowness in his blue eyes bothers me. Kai was not in good terms with Riham but he never got in a fight with him or prohibited me from the food he gave me. He's a cheerful person and strong as a wild boar. His helplessness, his hopeless eyes and the silence of his followers, everything bothers me. He's not like this. This is not my Riham whoever the fuck made him this way , will pay. I'll make sure of it. I turned back, to glance once again, to see him lying on a big stone bench with his wounds covered in medicine. I turned to walk , soon small hands grabbed mine. My eyes met the most beautiful blue eyes filled with rage and unshed tears. His daughter. I squat down to match her height.
" Papa told me you're powerful."
I nodded.
" I wanna see them dead."
My eyes widened. That's not a 10 year old talking. That's Riham's legacy, his daughter.
" When you kill them I wanna see it with my own eyes" tears falling down her face.
I wiped it with my thump and patted her shoulder.
" Whose death do you wish to see ?"
" Those twin Soldiers who beat my papa."
" You'll see them right infront of your eyes. Just a little bit time."
" Not infront of Mama. Promise me."
"I promise "
She turned back and ran towards her dear papa. His wife was asking, more like scolding her. I didn't even ask her name but it's the first thing my best friend's daughter asked me. I'll give it to her. Those two fuckers are dead.
                      I went back to my place only to see Stella holding a letter with royal symbol. I opened it. The coronation will be conducted in 5 days. So I've four days to complete my promise to her. I didn't took them to my surroundings because as much as I trust Riham, I don't trust his followers atleast not everyone. There might be a spy. And most probably escape or try to escape today. But unfortunate for them because Seon came back and now Muki's son , the next heir to Iguro Clan is incharge of them. He and Kai are similar in nature. Whoever is planning to betray, they'll be dead by tomorrow.
