Queen was afraid the people's trust in royal family will be gone after the incident of Selene and Adonis fairly. She also wanted to be on good terms with dark valley. She could've easily pointed out the culprit but she didn't.
Reason no. 1 , Della will die
Reason no. 2 , Floyd will be found out by enemies
Reason no. 3 , Dark valley will be acknowledged as a different country.
At that time her choice was wise enough, but she could've looked into it silently and once everything is in order she could've pointed out the person. The Queen adored Selene. She was one of her close relatives and maintained good friendship.
                    I left the palace with uneasiness etched into my skin. I don't think Della should stay in her home without knowing the truth. But she must face it , when the truth comes out everyone in that home except her will be perished. By the time I was thinking ways to save Della, I was already infront of my home. Kai , Seon and other soldiers were there discussing something, probably about Siagra. Something felt off. Seon ran towards me , "Siagra will be attacking us by tomorrow." My hands turned cold. They didn't send an indication about this. If it wasn't for Kai's spying it would have been an ambush. I'm sure that they won't lay a finger on people who is surrounding me but Dark valley also have other tribes, helpless ones. Their blood would have been a stain on the top of my name. The thought of my people getting killed boiled my blood. I sent Kai for searching about information about the people who are a threat to Della. He insisted on staying but I can't delay her or the valley matter. Zarah, She's a good fighter but if she joins this battle then they'll understand that the dragon of north is from dark valley. I don't want anyone to know about her identity. She even threw a tantrum about it. So I assigned her another work. She was still angry with me but she couldn't refuse it either. So basically my plan worked.
Now there's some people I want to see in person. The Iguro Clan. They are the closest to the lake. Siagra's first attack will be them. I want their help in this battle along with my soldiers. We all were ready to go to the west side of dark valley and Zarah to the entrance of dark valley as she was assigned to protect it from arrdivian intruders. We reached there after about an hour. There are numerous snakes in caged and on people's shoulders. They don't speak our language. So we use sign language to communicate. The Iguro Clan is also known as children of serpent. They were considered bad luck and full of mystry. They were not accepted anywhere except dark valley. Muki , the Clan leader came out. We talked by using sign and he understood the depth of the situation. They were all ready to help us but one condition, they'll be in front line. For someone who doesn't know about this clan they'll think that would be a fool's choice. But they are called the children of serpent for a reason. I agreed with them and waited for Siagran army's boats.
