LILITH WAS STARING at the spot where Hermes vanished, her mind thinking back at what he said about family.

"What’s going on?" Annabeth asked. "I heard you both calling for help! Lilith, is everything okay!?"

Lilith was snapped out of her thoughts by Annabeth's voice.

"Me, too!" Tyson said. "Heard you and the Pretty girl yell, ‘Bad things are attacking !’"

"We didn't called you, It was Hermes." Lilith said but the blonde gave her a confused look.

Annabeth noticed the four yellow duffel bags, then the thermos and the bottle of vitamins Lilith was holding. "What—"

Percy stopped her, "Just listen, We don’t have much time."

Percy told them about their conversation with Hermes and Annabeth looked at Lilith for confirmation, the Nightangel girl nodded.

By the time they were finished, Lilith could hear screeching in the distance-patrol harpies picking up their scent.

"Lilith, Percy," Annabeth said, "we have to do the quest."

"We’ll get expelled, you know. Trust me, I’m an expert at getting expelled."

"So? If we fail, there won’t be any camp to come back to."

"Yeah, but you promised Chiron-"

"We promised I’d keep you from danger." Lilith explained as Annabeth huffed at the oblivious boy.

Annabeth started, "We can only do that by coming with you! Tyson can stay behind and tell them-"

"I want to go," Tyson said.

"No!" Annabeth’s voice sounded close to panic. "I mean … Lilith, Percy, come on. You know that’s impossible."

Lilith understood Annabeth's hesitation towards the Cyclope so she decided to leave the decision on Percy.

"What??" Percy asked bewildered.

"You decide" Lilith shrugged as she flexed her wrist.

Percy thought for a moment as sighed. "We can’t leave him. Tantalus will punish him for us being gone."

"Percy," Annabeth said, trying to keep her cool, "we’re going to Polyphemus’s island!Polyphemus is an S-i-k … a C-y-k ..." She stamped her foot in frustration. As smart as she was, Annabeth was dyslexic, too. "You know what I mean!"

"Bringing a Cyclope to a Cyclopes island may not be the wisest decision, Ocean eyes." Lilith muttered looking at Percy as Annabeth nodded hurriedly.

"What do you have against Tyson now!?" Percy asked her, shock in his voice visible.

"I don't have anything against him, Ocean eyes." Lilith said, narrowing her eyes, "All I am saying is that It's not a wise decision."

"Tyson can go, if he wants to." Percy looked at Lilith in the eyes as if challanging her.

Tyson clapped his hands. "Want to!"

Lilith sent Annabeth a reassuring looks as the blonde sighed. "Alright, How do we get to that ship?"

"Hermes said my father would help."

"Well then? What are you waiting for?" Annabeth asked as she folded her arms and gave Percy a glare.
