Maeve only knew for certain two things in her life.

First one being, her parents always had her back no matter what. Despite not knowing anything about the magical world, they always tried their hardest.

Second one being, she loved her friends more than anything. She hadn't been that close with Addy or Natty since school, but since seeing them at the engagement party they had reconnected.

She watched as the three girls danced in front of her while they walked the cobblestone paths of Hogsmeade. They had made an appointment to get their dresses for the wedding, of course Ominis suggested they went to Gladrags and put it on his family's account.

The girls had tried protest, Poppy specifically, but it was no use. Ominis could be as stubborn as Sebastian at times.

Speaking of Sebastian it had been two weeks since he knocked on her bedroom door. Completely flushed. Maeve can remember so clearly what shade of white his knuckles were as he gripped the door frame, asking what she was doing.

He bloody well knew what she was doing to herself, but she couldn't bring herself answer at that moment, just stared at him with the reddest face ever. They stared at each other for what felt like an eternity, until he went to go say something, but turned around and went back to his room.

They've barely said two words to each other since.

As Garreth had warned her, she received a letter from Professor Weasley inviting her to join the faculty at Hogwarts. She hasn't told any of her friends yet, the letter still stashed in the desk drawer.

"Come on Maeve!" Natty turned around laughing and she gave her friend a big smile, skipping up towards the three girls.

"Let's get this over with." Maeve laughs

"Oh come on, don't be a spoil sport." Poppy teases her and Maeve crinkles her nose at her best friend.

"No one says spoil sport anymore." Adelaide smirks rolling her eyes.

"Yeah, well I do." Poppy sticks her tongue out and they laugh as they enter the clothing shop.

"Ah ladies." Mr. Hill grinned at the group of them. "Seems like it was just yesterday I was thanking that one for saving Hogsmeade from the troll." He beams as he points towards Maeve.

"Please Mr. Hill that was a long time ago." Maeve chuckles lightly.

"Still, forever in your debt." Mr. Hill nods politely towards her, "I have a private room set up in the back for you to try on dresses, just call if you need me. They are enchanted to be automatically tailored as you try them on so you can view them as a perfect fit."

"Thank you Mr. Hill, truly." Poppy smiles.

"Ah anything for a little bit of young love." He smiles, he motions for the girls to step into the back room.

He was not kidding, this room had to have at least two hundred dresses.  Maeve stared at them all in horror, this was not her kind of thing.

However it was Adelaide's, she squealed the second they girls entered, running up and touching all the different fabrics.

"Ah Miss. Sweeting, your wedding dress is ready." Mr. Hill grins, walking in carrying a large dress bag.
