"No, I am serious. He really isn't that amazing as you guys believe," the brunette repeated, looking at the group around her. It was mostly girls she didn't even know, and she was certain they were talking to her only because they seen her leave the party with the famous school prince they all had a crush on.
The black haired male stood in the door when it happened, simply watching the group standing around his table, too busy to even notice him walk into the class. "What's the big deal? Get out of my chair," he proclaimed coldly, putting his bag on the desk. The brunette finally took her eyes off the group of girls, glancing his way. The girl next to her jumped up from the chair immediately, making space for the boy to sit.
"You've got a few fans asking why you went through the trouble to help me out at the party," Izzy explained casually, watching as Hyunjin rolled his eyes. He sat down in his place, sighing when he realized they weren't leaving just like that. "I couldn't leave my girl alone there, could I?" He answered, not even caring enough to look at them. He just took out his art supplies, ignoring the gasps and whispers before they all slowly left his desk, leaving him and his so-called rival there alone.
"Since when am I your girl?? Why did you tell them that? Now everyone is going to think we're dating," Izzy whined, nudging his shoulder so he would finally look her way. "Let them think whatever," he said, grabbing her hand so she would stop punching him. "I don't care." The brunette scoffed, shaking his hand off. "Of course you don't care. God, you're pissing me off."
"What did I do now?" He asked confusedly, but before he could get his answer the art teacher walked in, interrupting them. "Whatever, just let me draw in peace," she mumbled, taking her own supplies out.
But he couldn't let it go just like that. It wouldn't be them to not bother each other just like that, and he wanted to get his answer.
So he did the exact opposite of what she wanted. He bothered her while she just wanted to draw and not think about anything.
"Can you stop? God, what's gotten into you? You're even a bigger asshole than before," she finally gave up, putting her brush down, turning towards him. Neither one of them could properly do anything on their paintings because of him, and it seemed to bother just one of them.
"Because you refuse to tell me what your problem is," he hissed at her, making her scoff. "Just leave it. You don't care anyway," she said annoyedly. She reached into her bag to find her headphones, deciding to ignore the male next to her completely. She surely wasn't in the mood to deal with him now.
Hyunjin sighed, leaving her alone and just focusing on his drawing again. However, he couldn't stop thinking about her. She was on his mind no matter how hard he tried to get her out. His index finger kept tapping the desk, and without him even noticing what he was doing, he started drawing.
He had to blink a few times when the teacher said their lesson was done for this week and he finally noticed what he was drawing. It was impossible to mistake the drawing for something it wasn't with his art skills. It was obvious what he drew no matter how he looked at it. He glanced next to himself, seeing the younger girl packing her stuff so she could leave.
He quickly turned around his artwork, collecting his own stuff instead so he could leave with her. He looked around, watching the last person leave before he glanced at her again. "Can we talk now?" He tapped her back, making her turn around to face him. "I don't know, can we? Or are you going to be an asshole who doesn't care about anything again?"
"Alright, what did I do to piss you off so much?? I thought we were finally fine. When we talked in the café I thought we were finally becoming friends and-"
"And then you go and basically tell everyone I am your girlfriend. Do you think that's normal?? Something friends do on a daily basis?? That's what's pissing me off, prince! We're not friends, and we are certainly not anything more than that, so stop acting like we are."
"Alright," Hyunjin gave in, regretting ever thinking about her as anything else but his rival. "I should have left you at the party after all. Perhaps you would have ended up in someone else's bed, and not messed with my head at all." He picked up his bag, not even bothering to take his drawing and just leaving the classroom, leaving her there alone.
"Why am I even trying? I should have known this couldn't go anywhere when I got a crush on her from all the people," he mumbled to himself, sighing as he headed out of the school building.
"What the-" Izzy started confusedly, watching his figure leave the classroom. "When did I ever mess with his head?" She asked herself. She sighed, giving up on trying to figure it out. She grabbed her bag, standing up from her place to leave too, when her sight fell on the paper on his desk. "Great, and he didn't even take this with himself," she shook her head, turning the drawing around to look at it before taking it with herself to give it back to him later.
"Oh god. That's what he meant by messing with his head," she breathed out, staring at the drawing of her own face. She quickly turned around towards the door as if she could stop him from leaving now. "And I thought I was crazy thinking he actually likes me," she grabbed the paper, rushing out of the classroom to catch him.
