talking too much

"It is basically just math all over again," the brunette proclaimed as she helped him clean the books and study notes they were using until now. "Yeah, that's why it's so easy for you," he mumbled, closing the chemistry book. "I am not a math genius, you know? I might feel burdened if you continue on like this."

"But you kind of are a math genius, though," he shrugged, grabbing his phone to call his roommate now that they were done studying. "A lot of people would want to be you if you weren't also known as the worst student."

Izzy rolled her eyes at him. "What would people think if they knew you are seeing the worst student in the whole school, huh?"

"You know I don't think of you in that way," he reminded her, noticing the sign of sarcasm in her voice. "And who cares what people think. For all I care I could yell out from my art studio that I like you so the whole school can hear."

She chuckled, walking over to him. She just smiled at him, trying her best to not turn into a ray of sunshine. As cringe as it sounded, it was the sweetest thing she has ever heard from a boy, and she just couldn't help but smile because of it. "Don't talk about things you actually wouldn't do, you don't want to be a liar, do you?"

"I don't lie, darling."

Izzy shook her head at him, quietly laughing again. "You're cute," she proclaimed, watching as his confidence slowly turned into a simple silence and a few breaths, which she assumed were his failed attempts to answer something.

"Have you texted Felix yet? Where are we going?" She wondered, changing the topic to let him calm down. She already knew she would have a lot of fun tonight if this was how he reacted.

"Right, no I haven't," he answered, blinking a few times to bring his mind back to reality. He looked at his phone, again, this time actually pressing the call button.

It didn't take much longer for the blue haired male to pick up the call. "So? Are you two joining us?" He asked as he walked towards their next - and final - stop. "Yeah, we are just leaving now. Where are you guys?" Hyunjin wondered, glancing at the brunette in his room one more time. "We are just entering the bowling place near campus so come here. If you are fast we might let you two be on the same bowling lane, too."

"Alright," Hyunjin rolled his eyes. "We'll be right there. But first, please tell me everyone isn't going to make a big deal out of the fact I am coming together with Izzy, and that no one is going to have any weird comments that might make her want to cancel our date tonight."

"You have a date?" Felix basically yelled, getting the attention of everyone around. Shit. He knew he fucked that up already. There was no way something like a date could go without noticing in their group. He knew they were a bunch of gossip lovers.

"Who has a date?" Alaska asked him immediately, her eyes full of curiosity and excitement. "Uhm," Felix started, glancing at his girlfriend and then at the phone in his hands. No matter how much he loved her he couldn't just betray his best friend and tell her. "I am sorry, Laska, I can't tell you this," he apologized, hanging up before Hyunjin could start questioning anything.

"Why not?" She asked, her puppy eyes almost making Felix tell her every gossip he has ever heard. He would do anything to make her happy. "I just can't," he blurted out before he could say anything he would regret later. "If he wants to tell you he will anyway," he shrugged, closing his eyes when he realized how much he just gave out.

"Is Hyunjin going on a date?" She questioned, grabbing his arm to stop him. "What did I just hear?" Seungmin was the first one to stop, others joining in right after. "Guys, I never said anything like that," Felix reminded them, raising his hands up in the air to show his innocence.

Minho scoffed, "he definitely is."

"Oh my god?" Amy joined in immediately. "With who?? Please, tell me it's Izzy and not some girl he met two hours ago."

"Guys, I never said anything about Hyunjin," Felix said, trying to save the situation. However, deep down he knew there was no coming back now. They knew him too well to be able to read all of him. "It's too late, mate," Chris proclaimed, making Felix sigh.

"Act like you don't know though, alright? But yeah, apparently he and Izzy have a date tonight. I don't know any details though. I hung up before I could ask."

"I am getting every single detail out of him tonight," Riley proclaimed confidently. "And I am getting everything out of Izzy," Robin joined in. "I hope they didn't even think about hiding this from us."

"This is going to end up bad," Felix sighed, already regretting it. "It'll be alright," his girlfriend assured him. "It's not like he is going to hold you responsible, don't worry. And if he ends up kicking you out of your dorm or something you know there's space in my room," she winked at him, giggling when he chuckled, wrapping his arm around her shoulders to give her a side hug.
