Carrie turned to look at Nicolette with a glare on her face before snapping on Nicolette. "I could have your sorry ass fired for doing this without consulting me about working overtime."

Nicolette rolled her eyes at Carrie, having had enough of Carrie bullying all the workers, trying to bully people to quit and then lie to the owners of not knowing why people are choosing to quit their jobs. I'm done with you getting away with bullying people who bust their ass to make sure that the customers are satisfied and keep the reputation of this restaurant pleasant. I'm going straight to the owns and telling them all that you had done to chase people that you don't like away. I hope you enjoyed bossing people around today, because it's guaranteed that you will be the one who will be losing their job tonight."

"You wouldn't dare. If you go to the owners of this restaurant and have them fire me from my job. I will make your life a living hell if you do that," Carrie said unknowing that Mandy was standing behind her when she threatened Nicolette.

"You better hope that Nicolette doesn't decide to go to the cops and seek a restraining order from your little threat. If you go through with your threat, you can be arrested for that. And I'm a witness to you threatening Nicolette," Mandy said standing up for her friend, causing Carrie to turn and look from her to Nicolette.

"What are you gonna do now, Carrie," Nicolette asked in a challenging tone.

"I don't need this place. I can find a better place that holds much more class than this sad excuse for a restaurant," Carrie said getting ready to walk out of the restaurant, only to be stopped by her boss.

"So, the accusations are true. I have received many complaints but those who complained about you lacked proof for me to fire you, that is until now. I guess I chose a good day to show up and see how things were going here. You're going to be released from your positions. Please go and collect your final pay. Don't bother trying to appeal against this decision. You won't be welcomed back. We run a family friendly restaurant, as well as have many respectable people who choose to come and dine here. Now please leave the premises and never return here again," the manager said. Carrie walked away, leaving the restaurant. The manager then turned to Mandy and Nicolette. "You ladies may finish your tasks. Then you may clock out Ms. Stone."

"Right," Nicolette said while going to grab the order for the man bringing his food to him. "Is there anything else that you need?"

"No. I will be sure to eat my meal, that way I can get out of your hair," the man said.

Nicolette walked away to help her friend Mandy, unknown that the mysterious British man took a picture of her and sending it to his boss, hoping that his boss would be pleased with the young woman that he sent a picture of.

It didn't take that long for the man to get back to the mysterious British man.

Bring her to me. I don't care how you do it. Find a way to bring her to me, his boss texted him. The man noticed Nicolette making her way over and was quick to put his phone away.

"Is there anything else I can get for you," Nicolette asked.

"Just the check," the man said before Nicolette walked away. Nicolette grabbed the check, bringing it back to the man.

"You can pay at the front. Hope you enjoyed your meal. Have a good day," Nicolette said while placing the bill down on the table before walking away.

I have to think of an excuse to get the girl alone, that way I can talk to her and convince her to come back to England with me. But that is much easier said than done. I have a bit more time here in America. Maybe I can come up with an excuse to get the young woman to come back to England with me, the man thought to himself as he placed a nice tip on the table for Nicolette, before making his way to the cash register at the front of the restaurant to pay his bill.

Nicolette made her back to the employee area was and checked out before grabbing her things and leaving the restaurant. Nicolette made her way home, unaware that someone was following her, watching as she was making her way home, wanting to get a moment of peace before going to her other job.

So, this is where you are living. The master would not be pleased to learn that you are living in a building that is not suitable for you. The master wants only the best of the best for you. That would require you to leave this place behind. Forget all about this life and be open to starting a new life in a different country, the man thought to himself before walking away.

Nicolette rushed inside her apartment, closing the door behind her, before leaning against it, trying to shake the feeling that something bad was going to happen.

Why the hell am I feeling this feeling that something bad is going to happen? This feeling began when those damn dreams started changing and feeling more and more realistic every time, I lay down to go to sleep, Nicolette thought as she pushed herself off the door making her way to room.

Nicolette changed into her other clothes so she could make her way back out of apartment. Hopefully I won't get that feeling that someone is following me wherever I go, Nicolette thought to herself while walking to her closet to pick out an outfit for that night.

Nicolette finally finished getting ready, after going through many outfits that she didn't feel would work for her. Nicolette turned to face the clock, noticing that she had a bit of time to kill before she had to leave. She made her way down to the kitchen to grab something quick to eat, that way she didn't forget and had to grab something while on the job.

"Tonight is going to be an interesting one. I have a feeling that something is going to go down while I'm at the club. Gracie is going to enjoy the drama that is most likely going down tonight. Lord help me, because I'm gonna need all the energy I can get to make it through tonight," Nicolette said to herself while making something quick to eat. Nicolette ate her food, before bringing her plate to the kitchen to clean it. Afterwards she made her way to the mirror to look at herself, contemplating whether or not the outfit she was wearing was suitable for the night. It didn't take long before Nicolette gave herself a nod of approval in the mirror before walking away from it.

"This is honestly as good as it's going to get. If I change my mind now, I will never get to work, and I won't get a good spot by the door. Besides, it's not like the patrons go there to enjoy my looks anyway. They care about having someone who will lend them an ear to listen to their problems," Nicolette said before leaving the apartment to make her way to the club, hoping that she could get a moments peace before she had to clock in.

Nicolette arrived outside of the club, parking her spot, and making her way inside where she spotted her friend and boss, Jay standing behind the counter, starting to serve drinks to people.

Jay looked over and called out to her, "There is my favorite barista! Looking hot tonight chick!"

Nicolette let out a little laugh before responding. "Thanks Jay. Remember to keep it in your pants tonight. If you don't I'm telling your boyfriend about it."

"No worries, dear. I know my man will be waiting for me to get home so he can do naughty things to me," Jay said with a bit of a wink before walking away, while Nicolette shook her head at her boss."
