Walter smirked at how feisty Nicolette was being, finding it quite hard not to take advantage and show her all of the ways that she belonged to him. "Do you really think it's a wise idea to go and challenge me on that subject? Because the last I checked, it was your family that offered your ancestor to me to be my original bride. But I never got the chance to marry my lovely bride. So, I'm claiming what is rightfully mine. Unless you want to be completely selfish and have Evelyn take your place by my side, living a life of being stuck talking to Viktoria and Lucy about all of her dreams that she couldn't achieve, all because you ran away, leaving her to take your place. Though it would be interesting to see Evelyn hunt you down, and then rip your insides out of your body, killing you for condemning her to living a life that she never truly wanted."

Nicolette glared at Walter. "You won't lay a hand on Evie at all. If you so much as think about turning her into a monster, I won't hesitate to put an end to your life."

"Do you really believe that you would be successful in killing me? Because let me make this clear to you right now. I could easily stop you before you get anywhere near me with a stake. All I would have to do is grab your hands, pin them above your head against the wall. And while you struggle to get out of my grip, I would place gentle kisses upon your lips, working my way down to your neck; kissing on it, until I had successfully managed to find the one spot that makes you weak in the knees. Once I find that sweet spot of yours, I would suck on it until you were distracted enough to where you forgot all about wanting to kill me. Instead, you would be focused on ways to pleasure me and make me a happy master. You would forget about killing me, and give yourself over to me willingly. Tell me Nicolette, doesn't that sound so much better than you wanting to kill me," Walter asked as he gently pushed Nicolette back against the wall pinning her there.

"You truly think low of me, thinking that I would jump right into bed with you. Do you truly believe that I am that easy," Nicolette asked in an offended tone.

"I never said anything to imply that you were an easy woman, who would just jump into bed with just anybody. Besides, if you even think about jumping into bed with another man, or should you make an attempt to flirt with another man, I will kill him slowly; and make you watch. Then I will punish you to make sure that you don't make the same mistake again. Remember darling, you are mine now. You are going to take your rightful place by my side, where you will be with me; for all eternity loving me and only me. Shall we head back to the room and continue this little intimate moment where nobody would dare to interrupt us," Walter asked before a slight smirk started to make its way onto his lips.

Nicolette shook her head at him. "I thought you would be a gentleman and at least wait until after our wedding. I would like to keep a little bit of tradition that has been practiced by my ancestors for many years. Or are you trying to keep up with the times?"

The smirk fell from Walter's lips, glaring down at Nicolette causing her to feel fear creeping up her spine. Walter looked deeply into Nicolette's eyes, seeing fear in them. "I see you lost that little spark of confidence that you had a moment ago, when you gave a bit of an attitude. But let's get things straight. You will learn to love me and obey me. You will also learn to show me the respect that I deserve, because I will be the one to give you the gift of eternal life. But if you keep showing me disrespect, I will punish you by killing Evelyn, before she gets the chance to learn the identity of the bride and groom that she and all of the other guests are attending this celebration for."

"You know damn well that I would do anything to keep Evie safe. That is why you keep using her against me the way that you do," Nicolette said.

"It's the only way that I can get through to you and get you to behave. Would you be a good girl and listen to me, if I don't go and use your friend against you," Walter asked.

"If you leave Evie alone as well as keep her safe from anyone that is associated with you, or has fangs like you, then I will let you do as you damn well please with me. You already know that I will do anything to keep Evie safe. I don't want to see her robbed of her life, when she has so much potential of having her art hanging in museums, or part take in art shows to be shown off," Nicolette said.

"So much like Colette. She was always putting others first and wanting to make her mother and father proud. That's why she kept quiet when her father broke the news to her that, she was to marry me. She never once did want to upset her father. And knowing my sweet Colette, she would have gone through with that wedding. But in a way, I'm glad that she didn't. Because if she had, then you wouldn't be standing here right now. And I happen to like you a lot better than Colette. You have more fire to you than she did," Walter said before licking the side of Nicolette's neck causing her to flinch in disgust. This reaction caused Walter to smirk again. "You will learn to love me and everything that I do to you. And if you don't love me now, well, baby you have all of eternity to learn to love me and all that I do to you to pleasure you in the way you have never been pleasured before."

"If that is what helps you sleep at night, then keep telling yourself that," Nicolette replied refusing to look at Walter.

Oliver was walking around the party mingling and talking with other guests, having a good time, smiling and sharing some laughs with everyone else. But the moment he spotted Viktoria approaching him, the smile dropped from his face. Oh dear God. What on earth does this royal pain in the rear want now? Every time she comes around, she always knows how to go and ruin a good time. Oh well, might as well find out what it is that she wants, Oliver thought as Viktoria stopped in front of him.

"Viktoria, so good to see you. Did you go through much trouble trying to track me down, all while I'm attempting to have a good time at the party," Oliver asked.

Viktoria gave Oliver a stern look before speaking up. "Obviously you do have a moment to spare. Come along with me. I need to speak with you...right now. It's very urgent, and affects you as well, if things don't go to the original plan."

Oliver excused himself before walking behind Viktoria as she walked away from the crowd. "What is so important that you had to drag me away from the other guests? This is a party Viktoria. We are meant to be having fun and celebrating the union between my cousin Evelyn and our master."

"Well, that won't be happening now, thanks to your dear cousin and her little guest of honor," Viktoria explained.

"What did Evelyn and her guest do, that would alter the original plans for the wedding to take place," Oliver asked confused.

Viktoria rolled her eyes at how stupid Oliver was being. "Thanks to your dearest cousin bringing her friend along with her, the master realizes that Evelyn's little friend is a descendant of his original bride, whom he was supposed to marry many years ago."

"So Evelyn's friend reminds the master of an ex-girlfriend that he had many years ago. That is no threat to us or our plans," Oliver said.

"You block head. Use that damn brain of yours, and think about what this means for the rest of us. By that young woman being here, it means that the original agreement is off. That means he doesn't marry Evelyn and give you guys power and protection. As for Lucy and I, we would no longer will be considered as the master's wives. He will only acknowledge that young woman as being his only bride. She will be the only one that will have his power and protection. She will be the only one he will associate himself with and leave all the rest of us to figure things out for ourselves," Viktoria snapped at Oliver.

"What are we gonna do," Oliver asked.

"We have to get rid of that girl, before the wedding takes place," Viktoria said.
