Mr. Renfield gave a nod. "Forgive me for speaking out of turn about this master, but what if Ms. Evelyn Alexander begins to ask questions about her friend? I'm sure Ms. Alexander would make attempts to inquire about her friend's whereabouts."

Walter growled as he turned his attention to Mr. Renfield. "I will be the one to deal with Evelyn, should she insist on seeing her friend, Nicolette. Now go and tend to our guests' needs. Make sure Evelyn stays out of the library as well as stays away from my hallway. Nicolette needs all the rest that she can get. She has a big day at the end of this little weekend get together."

Mr. Renfield gave a slight nod before leaving the room, closing the door as he walked out of the room.

Once the door was completely closed, Walter turned his attention back to the woman who was bound to his bed. I have been waiting a very long time to go through with the original arrangement that was agreed upon between your ancestors and myself. Only this time around, you won't get away from me. You will take your rightful place by my side. You will love and cherish me. You will be loyal only to me, Walter thought to himself as he approached the bed.

Walter slowly climbed up the bed, climbing on top of Nicolette, leaning into her neck, laying gentle kisses along her neck, causing Nicolette to stir a bit.

This little action caused Walter to laugh a little. Oh my little beauty, there is no escaping from me this time. You are going to take your place by my side as my wife. You are now mine, Walter thought to himself.

"Evie...Evie are you here? Please Evie, don't leave me alone with Walter. He scares me," Nicolette mumbled.

Walter pulled away smirking. "Now my love. That is no way to go and speak about your husband to be. I'm hurt that you would fear to be alone with me; especially when I can give you many experiences that you have never had before."

Nicolette's eyes snapped open at hearing Walter's voice so close to her. "GET AWAY FROM ME! Where is Evie? Where the hell am I? Why isn't Evie in the room?!? What have you done with her?!?"

"Evelyn is fine. She is mingling with the other guests, getting to know her long lost family a bit better. As I have told you where Evie is, it's clear that I haven't done anything to her. You are in my room, which also explains why Evelyn isn't here. That and she is not permitted to be in this room. I feel that it would be for the best that you get all the rest that you can get, because you will be busy with many other things, before you will be permitted to see the other guests," Walter explained.

Nicolette glared at Walter trying to hide her fear. "Why are you doing this to me? I'm nobody special to you. I only came here to be supportive of Evie meeting her long-lost family, that she didn't have a clue existed."

"Well originally, I had intended to marry Evelyn, but one of my people found you; and they couldn't believe how much Colette you looked like. They sent a picture of you to me, it was then that my mind was made up, that I was going back to the original agreement that was made. But if you refuse to go along with my original agreement, then your dear friend, Evelyn, will be forced to give up er life and remain here by my side. The final decision comes down to you, my sweet," Walter said as he climbed back on top of Nicolette.

"Keep your hands off Evie. If you so much as touch her, I will find a way to escape from your room, expose you for what you are, and then kill you," Nicolette said feeling somewhat confident when it came to protecting Evie.

"The only way you are getting out of this room, is by giving yourself to me. And if you so much as think about exposing me to everyone here, be my guest. But they won't believe you, let alone help you. They are here to attend a wedding. And they wouldn't risk missing that wedding," Walter said with a smirk knowing he backed Nicolette into a tight corner.

Nicolette let out a defeated sigh, knowing that she couldn't do anything to put Evie in danger by having Evie being her replacement. "I will give you what you want. But you have to assure me that you won't do anything to hurt or kill Evie. That also applies to your guests as well. If anyone hurts her, then you lose me as your bride."

"I'll get what I want from you. I always get what I want," Walter said while grabbing hold of Nicolette's face. Walter placed a kiss on Nicolette's lips, before pulling away, climbing off of her. "I'll allow you some time to adjust to your new role as my soon to be bride. If you will excuse me, I have some guests to go and entertain. We have a nice little gathering tonight. Tomorrow will be the dinner, where both the bride and groom shall be revealed to all of our guests, and after the dinner, the wedding will be held, and you will be taking your place by my side."

Walter made his way to the door getting ready to walk out but stopped turning to look at Nicolette. "Don't bother making any attempt to scream either. Nobody will hear you. Nobody is allowed to come down to my chambers, unless they work for me. My employees are all loyal to me." Walter then walked out of the room, closing the door behind him.

I have to get out of here. But I can't risk Evie getting stuck as this monster's wife. There has to be someone here who would be willing to help both Evie and I get out of here, that way we can make our way back home where we truly belong, Nicolette thought to herself.

Walter began making his way down the stairs, almost knocking Mrs. Swift down the steps. Walter was quick to grab hold of Mrs. Swift preventing her from falling to her death own the stairs.

"Mr. DeVille, I'm so sorry. I should have been watching where I was going. Please forgive me," Mrs. Swift said.

"No need to apologize, Mrs. Swift. But I do have something very important for you to take care of. I have a young woman in my room that will need things brought to her. She is to remain in my room until the dinner takes place. Make sure nobody makes any attempt to sneak into my room. It's very important that the young woman in the room remains in the room, until I'm ready to bring her out of the room. Take this seriously, because if she gets out or something happens to her, I will be forced to dispose of you, and find your replacement. Keep in mind Mrs. Swift, there are plenty of people who would be willing to work for me, for the amount of money that you are being paid right now," Walter said before letting go of Mrs. Swift, and turned away from her to go and mingle amongst the guests.

Evie walked out of her room, making her way down the stairs where the rest of the guests were mingling amongst one another. Evie walked in the room, feeling out of place amongst the people in the room. Evie wasted no time looking around searching for any signs of Nicolette being among the people that were mingling together. Evie let out a defeated sigh when she couldn't find Nicolette anywhere. Evie had been so caught up with looking for any sign of Nicolette that she didn't realize that her cousin, Oliver walked up behind her gently placing a hand on Evie's shoulder, gaining her attention.

"Sorry to scare you dear cousin. But I couldn't keep the rest of the family waiting any longer. They are all dying to meet you," Oliver said.
