chapter 26

Gracies POV-

"Gracie stop it's not worth it!" Olivia said taking my phone.

"Yes it fucking is! How does she think that it's okay for her to do this?" I said upset.

" I don't know but leave it alone! She wouldn't want you to do this." she said looking at me.

I took a deep breath in and looked around.

"Fine. Scar isn't answering my texts though i'm getting worried." I said putting my hands on my face.

"she's probably speaking with her team trying to get everything sorted out. i'm sure she's fine." Olivia said sitting next to me.

"I wanna kill her." I said.

"yeah I know." she said.

2 hours before....

Scarlets POV-

I was in the studio recording some songs before I leave to go on tour with Gracie.

"fuck I keep messing that high note up." I said in the booth.

"we have good takes of it but you're a perfectionist." Dan said.

"yeah yeah let me try again." I said smiling at him.

I finally got it so we just started recording more songs. I love making music, I can stay in the studio for hours if I didn't have things to do. Even when I was on tour I would record music on my phone so the next time I could get into the studio I would have something.

I was sitting down eating since we were done when my manager, Ella, walked in.

"hey you guys finished?" she asked.

I nodded taking a bite out of my burrito.

My phone went off so I picked it up and saw that my brother sent me a link to someones instagram live.

I made a confused face as it was one of my old friends live, Best friend actually. My friend group used to be Mia, Sab, and Eva. Until one day Eva told us she was at a party and had sex with Sabs ex boyfriend which obviously messed up our friendships with her.

I turned my volume up and heard my name. She was on live answering questions and talking shit about Mia, Sab, and I saying that we weren't friends because we did something bad to her.

"what the fuck?" I said out loud.

"come on i'm sure not a lot of people will believe her." Ella said.

"Oh also that whole bullshit break up post with Gracie was fake. Gracie actually left her for Hayes and probably even cheated on her. It was not a mutual break up as she said it was but you guys didn't hear it from me." She said and then ended the live.

My eyes went wide and I put my hand on my mouth.

"I'm gonna fucking freak out!" I said getting up.

"it's fine! we're gonna figure it out." Ella said going on her phone.

"How many people were on the live? maybe no one will say anything." Dan said.

I looked at him and shook my head.

"11,000 people were on the live dan. it's definitely gonna be on every fucking social media platform. Someone is always screen recording." I said running my hand through my hair.

Ella got up and turned her phone off.

"Do not go on social media or say anything. Come with me we're gonna go meet with the rest of our team. She signed an NDA and just violated it by telling your business to the world so she just fucked it up for herself." Ella said walking out.

"shit okay. Bye dan i'll see you soon. Thank you for today." I said grabbing my jacket and walking out.

Once we made it to my car I started driving to where my team was.

"why would she do something like this? we haven't talked to her in almost a year." I said annoyed.

" I don't know scar but she's gonna regret it. she's not even allowed to talk about any of you or your problems." Eva said.

I nodded and just continued driving. When we reached our destination we got out of my car and walked into the office building and walked to the room where the rest of my team was.

"hey gray, don't worry we already have everything sorted out." one of my other mangers, Ryan said.

I sat down on a chair and nodded.

"is there anything we can do? Gracie is supposed to go on tour in a week what if this messes things up for her?" I asked.

"The only thing you guys can do is completely ignore it and just let it die down on its own. I know it sucks but if you talk about it then people are just gonna make it bigger." My publicist, Zach said.

"So I can't say anything? seriously guys?" I said.

"If it gets really bad then yes of course but let's just try seeing how it dies down in a couple of days." Zach said.

I took a deep breath in and nodded.

"Okay. What about the NDA that she signed? can we do anything or is that all up to the lawyers?" I asked.

"You're gonna love this." Ella said winking at me.

"We sue her. It's really the best thing we can do. She violated the NDA and not even that she violated 4 NDA's. I hope her little 5 minutes of fame was worth it because her career is done. She should know better to not talk about other famous well known people on live like an idiot." Ryan said.

I laughed at what he said and shook my head.

"Will I have to go to court and shit?" I asked.

"Nope. we'll just have someone bring it to her and she'll have to contact you through us if she wants to speak with you but other than that we will handle it and try to keep it out of the media as best as we can unless she goes spreading about it on social media since she loves doing that." Ella said shrugging.

"Okay. thank you guys so much. I'm sure gracie is blowing up my phone so i'm gonna get home to her but please call me if anything." I said getting up.

We said our byes and I walked out to my car and then drove away.

I pulled my phone out and called Gracie connecting it to my car. She answered on the second ring.

"baby are you okay?" she asked worried.

"yes my love i'm okay i'm sorry I was just meeting with my team to discuss everything. Are you okay? I'm on my way to my apartment now." I said.

"I told you she was fine." I heard in the background.

"Shut up liv I was worried." she said.

I smiled to myself listening to them argue.

"Okay anyways, yes i'm okay. I'll be over there soon I'll leave livs now, I love you and please drive safely." she said.

"I will I promise. I love you more sweet girl." I said hanging up.
