A/N: I'm gonna be totally honest, I'm having a really rough time right now. My mental health has just dipped really hard and Idk why. So bear with me while I try to give you updates. As always, let me know what you think! Have a great day!

Lexa had to admit—it was odd, being with Anakin and Ahsoka at the same time. She wasn't used to having more people around the two of them. And she could tell that Anakin was more than annoyed.

How are we supposed to get any alone time with a Padawan?

She gave him a look. The same way we get time alone when Obi-Wan's around. We make it work.

Anakin let out a sigh as the trio approached Rex. "What's the status, Rex?"

"Quiet for now, sir. They're gearing up for another assault," Rex explained. "Who's the Youngling?" he demanded, gesturing at Ahsoka.

Captain Silver, from across the rooftop, jumped to his feet and grinned. He had short silver buzzed hair and silver-dyed eyebrows, each with studs across them. "That's Ahsoka! She flew down with us!"

Rex just gave a deep sigh. "I was talking to her."

"I'm Master Skywalker's Padawan," Ahsoka explained, cheeks slightly burning from the attention from Hyperion Squad.

Rex gave Anakin a deep side-eye. "Sir, I thought you said you'd never have a Padawan."

Lexa gave a cough into her fist. "Famous last words."

Anakin just gave her a look of exasperation. "There's been a mix-up!" Anakin insisted. "The Youngling isn't with me!"

"Stop calling me that!" Ahsoka snipped. "You're stuck with me, Skyguy!"

"Oh I adore you," Lexa blurted, a grin appearing on her face. Hyperion Squad and Rex burst into muffled laughter as Anakin looked at his young apprentice, shock on his features.

"What did you just call me?" He demanded. "Don't get snippy with me, little one! You know, I don't even think you're old enough to be a Padawan!"

"Hey, don't be mad at her. One day she's gonna be taller than you." Lexa said pointedly.

Ahsoka's jaw dropped into a grin and she high-fived Lexa. "Yes! And for the record, Master Yoda thinks that I am."

"Well you're not with Master Yoda now. If you're ready, you better start proving it." Anakin said with a huff. He glanced behind him for a second, an idea forming. "Captain Rex will show you how a little respect can go a long way."

"Uhh...right. Come on, Youngling," Rex disappeared with Ahsoka down to where the rest of the men were.

As soon as they were out of earshot and Hyperion Squad had followed them, Anakin wrapped his hands around Lexa's waist, pulling her close. She let out a squeal of surprise, unable to help the smile that slipped onto her face.

"Well now this is a much better reunion. I didn't think I was going to see you for at least a week." Anakin murmured against her lips.

Lexa hummed in contentment, leaning back in his grasp. "I'm full of surprises."

"Including a Padawan?"

She smacked at his chest and he released her. "Yes, including that." Lexa said, a knowing smile on her face. "But to be fair, I was sworn to secrecy."

"Lexaaaa." Anakin gave a whine of annoyance.

She just tapped on his chin in an effort to get him to close his jaw. "Oh come on, Ahsoka's the best of the best. And she deserves to be trained by the best of the best. Besides, I technically get to call you Master Skywalker now."
