The sun had risen from his slumber and stretched himself along the clear blue sky, his clouds dancing in the air.

You were blissfully asleep, hair spread on your cushion and your arms laying on the side, close to your chest.

"Y/n ?" A high pitched voice whispered, soothingly rocking you from side to side. You groaned and stirred to hide your face. "Miss Y/n, you need to wake up"

Eyes still hazy, you peeled them open and were met with a blurry blob, colors flowing among each other like over watered paint on paper. Eventually the shapes became sharper and staring down at you, were two sets of brown eyes.

"Morora ?"

"Finally you're awake" She huffed out unconsciously and made her way to your closet. "Do you even know what time it is ? Past noon. Have you been up all night ? Don't you know it's very unhealthy" She rambled on furiously, like a worried mother.

The mention of last night left you frozen, sitting still on your bed with your arms holding you up.

"Actually" You smiled softly at the memory "I slept wonderfully"

Morora turned around at the softness of your tone and her eyes glazed with an unknown emotion, before smiling and handing you clothing.

"That's good to hear."

You dressed up, Morora kindly helping you with your hair, brushing through each strand.

Once you deemed yourself set, you trotted out with your sister, both of you tangling arms together.

"Have you forgotten what today is ?"

"..." You didn't meet her eyes, trying to recall any announcement. After thinking hard you shake your head no and she sigh.

'What will I do with you' Morora thought as she only smiled and shaked her head. "It's our very first God festival, the one we've all been waiting for, for when the Gods arrive !"

You stared ahead, unfazed by the news.

"Aren't you excited ?" Morora asked.

"I suppose this situation still hasn't sunk in yet. If I may be honest, never did I believe we would ever have one"

"I understand" She nodded at your words and faced forward.

The morning silence around you two was harmonic until a figure, centimeters taller than you, spooked out from nowhere. What faced you, was a golden monkey with black eyes staring into your soul.
