"Perhaps I could rest for a bit. Only for a few hours" Corazon gave in after you suggested he rest. "But I'd prefer if you sleep on the bed as well, it would make me feel better" He smiles down at you, his cheekbones a tint of red.

You nodded and settled beside him, giving him his personal space. You noticed how stiff he was but thought it was probably because he needed to get used to the mattress.

On the contrary, something else was flooding the God's mind. Something hot, something that left his lip dry in anticipation, something that made all of his fingers and toes twitch. He wasn't sure he could describe it but it made his body feel incredibly hot and the muscle in his back squeezing from the tension. His lower back was inches from the mattress. Comfort wasn't what was on his mind, no. You were. A plague overwhelming any ways of thinking, leaving him to succumb to a spiral and rollercoaster of visions. He remembered his mask was still on and for a second he thought about it.

When was the last time he had taken it off ?

"Your mask, my Lord. Isn't it uncomfortable ?" You whispered in the dark and for unknown reason, it left a europhic shiver in him, pushing his back further off the mattress.

"A,ah yes I, uhm, had forgotten about it" He gulped down as he pulled it off.

In the dark of the room, you glance at the blond strands flowing onto the cushion. They had a glowing and nourished flow, similar to an angel's beauty. His jawline line was sharp with a curved pointed chin. Sadly for you, the darkness wouldn't allow you to observe him more.

As you kept observing at best, Corazon was secretly glancing at you, knowing you were staring. To think he had such an effect with little for you to see, he couldn't help but smile like a goofball. It was intimidating yet thrilling and he couldn't deny he enjoyed the attention you gave him. How odd, he thought. He felt like a giddy girl when the man she likes walks past her.

But he didn't love her. Or did he ? He only knew her for a few days, he couldn't have fallen for a woman- nonetheless mortal- so fast. Maybe it was the loneliness he has lived through for decades tormenting and wrapping his head in thorns, making him question everything.

"Goodnight, my Lord"

"...Corazon"

"Huh ?"

"Please...please call me Corazon" You couldn't see it but his eyes were facing you.

"Alright then. Goodnight, Corazon" You turned around, your back facing him as you slowly drifted off.
