Starry's POV

"I'm so full," I said while chewing one of my favorite desserts, Blueberry Cheesecake.

"Sweetie, you could stop eating if you're full. I can eat that for you," my father said with a grin while trying to get my dessert which I spat his hand away.

"No! This is mine, daddy," I grumbled.

"Just a little bit?" he begged.

"Nope. There's a chocolate cake over there," I countered.

"Please?" he pouted.

How can I say no to that? Uggggr!I rolled my eyes and gave up, "Fine. Can you give me a slice, please?"

Joshie acted as if he didn't hear me so I had to ask again, "Joshie! A slice, please."

"Oh, you're talking to me?" he smirked.

What can a girl do to get her cake? That's right. Throw a crumpled napkin at him. I was about to throw it at Joshie but Tyler spoke up.

"You could have this, Sunny," he said offering his cheesecake.

I blushed and declined his offer. Although that cheesecake is to die for, I was in a mood for a chocolate cake right now. Thanks to my dad.

"Really, I insist," he continued.

"It's ok, Ty. I'm not really in a mood for a cheesecake anymore, thanks to someone.." I said while giving my dad a look while he gave me an apologetic smile. "I would really love to have a slice of that, though," I continued.

"You sure?" he asked and I nodded."Well, let me get you that slice then," he stated with a smile.

"That would be great, thanks!" I said excitedly.

He was about to get the last slice but Joshie beat him to eat. My mouth dropped and I glared at the evil man, "you had enough desserts, Starr. And you're full. We don't want you to feel sick, again, do we?" he asked innocently but I can sense that he's smirking inside.

"That's true sis. You could have a fruit bowl instead," she joined in and pushed me a bowl of fruits.

"Fine but you owe me a slice, Josh Christian Pierce!" I said while eating a grape.

Both my parents laughed at what was happening between us, "Sorry, Honey," my dad said.I gave him a small smile, "It's ok."

They continued to chat with one another while I'm eating my healthy fruits. I wanted that cake so bad but they're right, I wouldn't want to go to hell through gluttony.

"You know, that offer is still on the table," Tyler whispered with a small smile.

He's so sweet! I'm gonna die! I can't help but chuckle at him. "It's fine, Ty."

"Really? Still a no?" he chuckled.

"Yup and I'm sticking with it," I replied proudly.

"If you say so," he said before he ate his dessert with one spoonful. That cake was delicious but so is his, you know, lips. Stop it, Starr!

Mouth-watering lips.

"But I'd like to take you on that slice elsewhere. How 'bout I treat you for a whole day dessert tomorrow?" he suggested with excitement evident in his voice.

My heart fluttered alongside with butterflies in my stomach.

Another day with this awesome dude? Hell yeah!!
