Starry's POV
I woke up the next day with Josh's voice calling my name from across the hall. Gosh! He's the most effective alarm clock I know!
"Starr! Get the door and let us go back to sleep!"
I groaned and sat up my bed with my eyes still closed. When he shouted my name again, I jumped and opened my eyes with a yawn, "Yeah yeah!"
"Thank God!" he groaned. Josh is a light sleeper and me? I love my sleep and if I can help it, I'll stay in my bed as long as I can. I can't even hear the knocking on the door if I want to block it out but I wouldn't want to disturb his beauty sleep because he's a monster if he doesn't get it.
I grabbed my hair tie and made my way to my bathroom to wash my face and brush my teeth. Whoever is waking me up this early should at least see me a bit more decent.
Before opening the door, I saw my reflection on the mirror and nodded my head in approval. I said I'll be a bit more decent, I didn't say that I'll change into a ball gown so pj's all the way.
Once at the staircase, another knock sounded and I continued to mumble incoherent words at who woke me up this fine morning when I should be having my much needed beauty sleep too because I have a date later on.
Yeah! I do have a date so why was I the one asked to open the door. Stupid, inconsiderate Josh!
With a groan, I opened the door and my mouth dropped when I saw Tyler standing in front of me wearing a simple gray muscle tee paired with trail shorts, a backpack and completed with a smirk.
If I wake up every day to see him like this, then I should thank my annoying best friend at that. Soooo HOT! His muscles, his lips, his abs that's somehow obvious with his fit shirt. Tell me I'm not drooling right now.
"I have the same pair of jammies," he smirked. I scrunched my brows together confused at what he was trying to imply but when he eyed my legs to my feet, my face grew hot. Oh, God! I'm in my Iron Man jammies.
I chuckled awkwardly and scratched my head, "Oh. I love Tony Stark." I love Tony Stark??! What the hell, Starr! Wake up! Nobody cares that you love the Avengers!
I think I'm as red as a ripe tomato now when he chuckled again. After a while, he cleared his throat and smiled sheepishly at me, "I know it still seven and I told you that I'll pick you up at eight but I somehow forgot to tell you that I was referring to eight am so here I am, trying to be your alarm clock."
Are you an alarm clock? Cause you woke my sleeping heart! Shut it, Starr!
"it's still seven?" I exclaimed when I realized the time. And when I looked at him, his cheeks turned pink and he rubbed the back of his neck. How cute! I cleared my throat and smiled, "I mean, is it already seven? I haven't noticed."
He grinned and shook his head, "Yeah."
"Well, then, come in and give me thirty minutes. Make yourself feel at home. You know everywhere is. There's food on the kitchen, too, but I don't think it's cooked," I started to ramble while backing away to the staircase to go change. He nodded and chuckled before heading to the direction of the kitchen.
I mentally curse myself at my own stupidity but allowed myself to smile thinking that I'd be spending, hopefully, the whole day with Tyler. Speaking of which, I don't know how to dress up for the activities for today.
"Ty?" I turned and called to him. He looked up and hummed. "What should I wear? And, uhm, where are we going?" I said blushing profusely.
Smirking, he eyed his outfit and said, "Dress comfortable, I suppose. I hope you like to hike."
