Starry's POV
True to his word, Tyler came early in the morning just in time for breakfast and it went pretty well with a lot of chitchats.
Joshie spent the night so the dining room was pretty loud due to his loud voice and indefinite jokes which is quite a hit for all of us even with our parents.
Odd part was, my dad and Tyler were hitting it off pretty well; they keep on laughing and talking endlessly and there are times that I could catch him looking at me with an undefined emotion in his eyes. And trust me when I say that it was intense.
God! I love those green eyes!
Those beautiful green mesmerizing eyes are pulling me to him which makes my heart beat faster by the second so I instantly break gazes with him so as not to melt.
God! He's so handsome!
He hasn't talked to me much except for the simple 'Hi!' and 'Good morning!' as he was always chatting with my adorable father. Note the sarcasm.
God! I miss his voice!
As I was helping Anna clean the table, my mom called for me and led me to the living room far away from the men by the garden.
"Yes, mom?" I asked curious as to why she wanted to talk to me privately.
"I like him," she replied with a smile.
I scrunch my eyebrows together, confused by her statement wherein she just rolled her eyes and continued, "Tyler. I like him; he's a good kid and to top it off, your father seems to adore that kind young man."
I sigh with a small smile, "I can see that. He's been talking to him nonstop since he arrived."
My mom giggled, "Don't be jealous, sweetie."
"Mom!" I exclaimed at her.
She continued to laugh and patted me on the arm, "We'll talk about this when we come back, ok darling?"
I nod and gave her a hug, "Mom, I don't know but maybe, you're right. I kinda li..."
We were interrupted by my father as he called our attention that we should get going or they'll be late for their flight.
Now, we are, currently, riding my truck with me on the passenger seat, my parents and sister on the back seat and Tyler on the driver's seat.
I can get used to this; with him by my side. Oh, how I wish it could be true.
The entire ride was noisy and loud with all the chatting and laughing inside the vehicle. And from time to time, I glance at Tyler to see him smiling at me which makes me blush every time we lock gaze.
I feel weird. Good weird with all the flutters and electricity in my body.
Not long after, we arrived at the airport where my dad's private plane awaits. I stepped down the vehicle and helped in carrying the luggage to the airplane's stair thingy, I don't really know what it's called.
Don't get me wrong, my dad has a number of bodyguards to whom which I consider friends since I've practically known them all my life and they love us just like their own but as much as possible, we want to act as normal as we can, not the snobby billionaires that people think we are.
That's practically the reason why I decided to pay for my own expenses because I don't really want to be defined just as the 'billionaire's daughter' but as Starry Ash, a hardworking girl and it eventually happened.
