Craig dropped me off to school after I spent the weekend with Gael. Upon entering the campus Liam is already waiting for me, I instantly take a step back ward when our eyes met, he have dark circles under his eyes.
He approached me and my instinct is to run immediately but he stopped me by saying..
"Why can't you just leave him Sam?!" He shouted at me the moment he's near me.I looked at him and crossed my arms. He really is not dropping this about this one!
"You don't need to shout dumbass" I told him rolling my eyes
"What did you call me?" He asked surprised
"I called you dumbass" I replied, he took a deep breath and looked at me
"I just want you to be safe Sam, that's all" he said crossing his arms
"Liam forget about me! I am much safer with him than you! I will never leave him" I told him and then I turned my back and run to Gael's classroom.
I composed myself first before entering the room, once I am good I entered and saw Riley seating at my chair.
"What do you want?" I immediately asked her, she bit her lips and looked at me
"Liam came to talk to me" she started, this Liam is getting in to my nerves, and does he think talking to Riley will make a difference? I looked at her boringly, waiting for her to just leave me alone
"He is asking me to convince you to return to NYC Publishing" she murmurs when I did not replied to her. I took a deep breath and flipped my hair
"He knows why I quit, and I am already interning at LRV Publishing" I said, I heard her gasped, I rolled her eyes at her reaction
"You mean New York's biggest and largest publishing company?" she asked, I nodded. She don't need to know that it I am related to the owner
"Is that all?" I asked her, feeling irritated right now
"Sam, I am sorry for all" she said, I looked at her and she is looking at me intently
"Forgiven" I muttered half heartedly
"But we can't stay friends" she said, I took a big breath and shake my head
"Just go back to your sit Riley! What's the point of asking forgiveness if you are going to say that?!" I shouted everybody in the room looked at me, at the same time Gael entered the room. There were all silent as they are looking at me. Riley face flushed as she turned around and went to her chair
"Why are you shouting Ms. Reeves?!" He asked. His voice low, I heard shuffled around me as all of my classmates went to their chairs.
"Nothing professor" I muttered, Kath and I looked at each other and she sighed, I just gave her a tight smile.
After our class with Gael, Kath approached me and invited me to go the nearby cafe, we were both silent as we did each other school work. After I was done with my essay I dropped my pen stretching my arms. Kath looked at me then smile
"Hey, Sam what happened between you and Riley?" She asked, I looked at her then sighed
"We drifted apart I guess?" I answered her, just then Aaron and Riley entered the cafe
"Oh great!" I muttered, and Kath looked towards the door
"Isn't that Aaron Jones? Why is he with Riley?" She asked me, I looked at her confused
"They are together for like a year now I think" I told her, she continue to gaze at Aaron and their eyes met.
I could see that Aaron's face automatically turned into a mask of terror, his eyes wide and unblinking as he stares intently at Kath. Then he whispered to Riley and they immediately went out at the cafe
