I told Gael everything Liam and I talked about. Like me, he can't really comment on Liam and Dr. Mason's relationship but yes Liam has a free will to break the contract.

We are staying here on his cottage till Sunday, he is finalizing his research now that he needs the peace his cottage gives him. Carmen left enough supplies for us, so I always cook for the both of us.

He planned this ahead of time and he wanted to surprise me yesterday but he said he was the one that was surprised because of me going with Liam, well that earned me twenty spank of his belt on my body but I don't mind because he fucked me so hard last night.

"What if we don't go back to New York anymore?" Gael suddenly said as I carried our food on the table, he just finished his zoom meeting with his colleague in Egypt.

"Will locked ourselves here forever?" I chuckled as I grabbed the freshly orange juice I made.

"Not forever let say a year or two? What do you think?" He seriously said while he sliced the salmon I baked.

"That's insane Gael! How are we going to survive?" I raised my eyebrows around him

"I have many passive income Sam, I can also give you my black card if you want" he nonchalantly said. Is he damn serious? Why he wanted to stay here in such a long time?

"Is there any problem?" I asked him seriously, he sighed and dropped his utensils as he drinks from his glass.

"I am just burned out these past weeks, so I just needed to relax, but now we are here, it so inviting to stay here and just forget all the stress in New York" he sighed. Well I can't blame him though, because like what I said I still love how slow pacing life here in our town, most especially on this part where the cottage of Gael is located.

Imagine waking up each morning to the gentle chirping of birds and the warm sun rising over the horizon. The air is crisp and clean, with a hint of fresh-cut grass and the sweet aroma of blooming flowers.

You step out of from this cozy cottage, surrounded by towering trees and rolling hills, and take a deep breath, feeling the stresses of the world slowly melting away.

The stresses of city life seem to fade away, replaced by a sense of contentment and belonging. You'll realize that sometimes, less is more – less traffic, less noise, less chaos – and that simplicity can be incredibly liberating.

So I can't blame if he wanted to stay longer. It's a place where he can slow down, unwind, and rediscover what truly matters in life, but of course we have life in New York that we can't just leave if we are stressed out.

"Well we need to face reality I guess" I told Gael, he sighed and nodded, then cupped my face as we both finish our meals.

The short relaxing staycation  came to an end, Gael and I felt refreshed and rejuvenated. Our small town had worked its magic, easing our worries and calming our mind. I realized that sometimes all it takes is a short break to recharge and refocus.

We are now back in New York and need to face reality. I don't know what Gael did but the stakeholders are now tamed, they are not pressuring the President about looking for Dr. Scott but what happened takes a toll to our President.

One day I was walking at the hallways when I saw him, he is talking at one of the departmental head and I noticed he loose a lot of weight and his grey hairs are much more visible. His beard is long with grey hairs. Though he still looks neat, but you can tell that scandal Dr. Scott left make him so stressed.

And one of the realities that I have to face is Simon's admission to Silas and Andrew, the day has finally come once and for all to admit everything to each other.
