His mother took me to the study. "How long have you two been together?" she asked. "Almost 4 months." I say. "You are so beautiful. What is your secret?" "Me? I don't have a secret." I like his family already. They want to approve me as family but I can't. I just think that Toby and I aren't that serious to be called family.
His parents offered me to stay for dinner and I decided to stay. "Should I call Jared?" I ask Toby. "If you want to." he says and then I turned to his parents. "Is it okay if I can stay for the night?" I ask. His mother smiled. "If that's okay with your brother." "Thank you."'I say and texted Jared that I would be staying at Toby's house tonight.
I nod my head saying that I can even though Jared hasn't replied yet. "After dinner, Toby, can you show her the guest room?" his father asked. "Do you not trust Rylee? Let her stay In Toby's room." his mother said. "I don't mind staying in the guest room. After all, I am a guest." I say siding with Toby's dad. "Nonsense. You're like my daughter. I trust you to stay in the same room as Toby." She says and I finally gave up and when we finished dinner, Toby walked me to his room.
