Summer vacation has turned into a bummer vacation. Shane and I spent 2 months together and then the other month he went to look at his dorm and campus.
That leaves us with 3 days together. Only 3 days! "What do you want to do?" I ask. Shane turned his head and looked me straight into my eyes. "Let's run away together." he says.
Woah, what?????? "What!?!?!?!?!?" I ask. So we can be together forever. Rylee, think about it. We can spend our lives together." he says. "Shane, I don't know. I think college would be great for you. The both of us." I says. "What are you trying to say?" "I mean, we could take a break." I say and he nods. "But running away would be a better solution." he says. "Shane, just do it for us. We can just run away. I know it may seen like a great idea but think about our future."
Shane thought for awhile. "Do you even love me?" he asked. "Yes. I love you very much." I say. "Then what's dragging you down? When we run away, we can start a family." he says. "Shane, you need your education." I tell him. "I can't. I can't go back to school for four more years Ry, not without you." I cried. "And if we do run away, we would we go?" I ask. "Far way from everyone." he says. I shook my head. "You know I can't leave my family. This is our home." I say. "Well, what do you want to do?" he asked. "I don't know. We can just split." Shane shook his head as I cry. "No. No. No. NO. I can't go a day without you Rylee." he says. "I know. I can't either bit it would be for the best for us." I say in between sobs.
For the rest of the day Shane and I were crying. Torri and my brother came to check up on us. We told them our story. "You two are the perfect couple! You can't split ip!" Torri wined. "It would be best for us." Shane says. "What happened to you saying that you'd never leave her no matter what?" my brother asked hugging me. "Some promises can't be kept." I say. "I guess Shylee, is over." Torri says. Shylee? That's our pet name? She could do so much better, I'll just put up with it.
Jared suggested we throw a party but me and Shane are in no condition of partying. "Love sick puppies." Torri says and I cry into my pillow. Shane does the same next to me. I told Jared and Torri to leave the room.
I inhaled and exhaled deeply. "I really want that razor right now." I say. "Well you're never going to get it." Shane says. I moaned and screamed into my pillow. "I don't wanna loose you Shane." I say into the pillow. "I don't wanna loose you either Rylee." he says and I screamed some more. "Why does our love for each other have to be so complicating?" I ask. "Because that's what's love is. We have obstacles that we have to get through." Shane says and I got off of my bed.
I walked to my desk and opened the drawer. Nope. The razor isn't in there. "You'll never find it." he says and walks up behind me. "Meanie!" I say sticking my younger out.
Once I had my tongue back inside my mouth, Shane kissed me and I kissed back. We ended back on the bed and made out like crazy.
"Eh. Hem." a sound cleared their voice. Shane and I parted and I got up. "You just messed up a perfectly good moment!" Torri say slapping Kyle in the head. "What the f**k!" I say. "We're taking you guys out." Kyle says. "We were perfectly fine just now." Shane says. "Leave us alone!" I say and threw a book at Kyle's face. "Ow!" he says rubbing his head. Torri and Kyle went downstairs to get a ice pack.
I locked the door and sat back onto my bed. "No privacy what so ever." I say and we cuddled for the rest of the night.
"Why are you so beautiful?" he asked me. "I don't know." I say. "You should know that you're beautiful." "I already have you to tell me that." I say. "I know you do, beautiful." he smiles and I got up and thought for awhile. "Shane, I want to go." I say. "Go where?" he says not getting what I said. "I will run away with you Shane." I say. "Are you sure? I won't make you do something you don't wanna do." he tells me. "I'm sure." Shane smiles and kissed me.
