I had my brother sing with me for the talent show. I also asked my parents to come. Hopefully they can come. I mean all they do is call once a month. Only for 3 minutes and then they have to go back to work. That's all I get after telling them off?!
At least they attempt to call but it's not the same. "So, I hear that your going to be in the talent show... Good luck." Bridget says.
"Whatever." I say. Shes such a ugh.... I can't believe that shes still with Shane. "I don't get why Shane likes you. I mean you're not even popular." she says. "Whatever." I say.
"No fighting." Leo says. "You're lucky I care about Shane. If you weren't dating him I would so rip your face off." I say and Bridget backs off.
Leo tells me that I'm jealous but why would I be jealous of that? She's a bitch. No one likes her.. Except for Shane of course. "I'm not jealous Leo. I just can't believe that he picked her." I say. "You're the one who got them together." Leo says and I growled. "Shush. I'm going to warm up. Go find Jared." I say and then Jared showed up.
He looks cute. I bet Bridget would throw herself at him. If she's smart she wouldn't do it. "So, did you get the cd?" I ask. "Right..... Oh crap I can't find it baby sis." he says searching for the cd. "Just kidding." he says pulling it out from his pocket.
"You almost killed me there." I say and he chuckled. "Rylee, you should be thankful that you have such an awesome brother." he says loud enough for some girl to hear. "Don't waste your time. That's Shane's girl." I say. "Really? I thought he was gay." "He isn't so let's practice before the show." I say.
We went to the chorus room to practice. Not that many people were here which was fine with me. "Hope you lose loser." Bridget says. "What would Shane do if he heard you say that?" I ask. "Nothing because he didn't hear what I just said." she says and Jared looks in disbelief.
Just then Shane walked in. He's also in the talent show. "How are my favorite girls doing?" Shane says hugging us both. He hugged me the longest. "Nothing. We're just wishing each other good luck." I say and Bridget said the same. "I'm so glad the the both of you are getting along." Shane says smiling. "Why wouldn't we?" I ask and Shane chuckled. "Well, I'm going to warm up. Good luck." he says and walks over to the other side. "Back off, he's mine." Bridget says.
Jared looked at me and then to Bridget. "Toodles!" she says and walks off. "Why wouldn't you tell Shane the truth?" Jared asked. "Because I don't want to hurt him. I mean he's my best friend. Shane wouldn't even realize that his girlfriend is a Queen B." I say and Jared laughed. "Okay, let's start from the top." he says and we sung.
Me and Jared were the opening singers. Then it was Bridget and then Shane and me and some other people. Yeah, I want to sing twice. Well, it was the teachers idea. "For the opening show, Rylee and Jared Sherwood sing Where'd You Go by Fort Minor." Mr. Hayward says and then I looked at the crowd. "Mom and dad are here." I say joyfully but I knew that something was going to happen. "Baby sis, someone took our cd." Jared says. "What?" then the piano started playing. I look to see Shane playing on the piano.
Everyone was cheering, so were my parents. Well my dad was. Mom was crying. I sung this song for them. "That's was beautiful. What an opening act." the principal said. "Next up is.... Bridget Beaplty." wow..
"I will be singing I kissed a Girl by Katy Perry." she says and smiled at Shane. He smiled back and looked at me. I gave her two thumbs up with a fake smile.
She sung her song and she had a nice voice. I see why she's cheer captain. "Wonderful! Next up Shane Ellis!"
"I'm Shane and I will be singing My Love by Justin Timberlake with Leo." he says.
