After driving 13 hours or so, I told Shane, Jared and my dad everything. They were disappointed in my mom to set up a young child to marry a girl who is already taken and is hopelessly in love with her best friend. Wow. That sounded like one of those teen romance novels. That's my life technically. A teenage love story.

It's 8:47pm and the crew and I are crowed by a bonfire, that the boys made, in the woods. It was 67 degrees outside too. I'm so glad that the heat is facing towards me but my back is leaning against Shane's chest and I feel bad for him being cold but he said that he doesn't mind. I still feel bad.

We roasted marshmallows and Leo shared a scary story. "This is a story called,Lost in the Woods.

You know, it was on a night just like this when a little girl went missing in these woods. The rangers say her name was Cassie, and she had gone camping with her girl scout troop. That first night, when everyone was gathered around the campfire, the little girl ignored what she had been taught about sticking with her camp buddy. She heard a little rustle in the nearby brush, and thought she just might catch a bunny to keep as a pet. She quietly snuck off after the sound."

It wasn't very long until her camp buddy noticed that the girl was missing, and she told the scout leader about it. The rest of the girls were ushered back to their cabins, and the scout leader and a few of the moms gathered their flashlights, and set out to look for the girl. A short time later, a terrible thunderstorm blew in, making it impossible to keep looking for the missing camper. The moms decided it was best to turn back and continue the search after the storm had passed; after all, the little girl wasn't one of their daughters. However, the scout leader refused to give up. With her hair plastered to her face by the rain, and the lightening flashing all around, she bravely walked into the woods, calling the little girl's name. The sound of her calling could be heard, over and over, until it faded away." I clutched onto Shane very tightly.

"When the moms arrived back at the cabin, they discovered that the little girl had found her way back on her own, and, except for a few scratches, was none the worse for wear. The violent storm continued through the night, but all was still again by morning. However, there wasn't sight or sound of the scout leader. The moms alerted the park rangers, and a search party was formed, but not a trace was ever found of the missing leader."

Then Leo spoke very softly.

"That was ten years ago, but some people say you can still hear her ghost calling out the little girl's name, "Cassie, Caaassieee..." Listen, you can almost hear it now..."

A gust of wind blows past us.Kyle then shrieks, "Cassie!", making everyone scream their butts off.

After screaming our butts off, Kyle and Leo were on the ground laughing. "That was so not cool!" Torri says pouting. "Aw, it was just a story baby." Kyle says hugging her. "You don't know for sure." Torri said.

I swear, they watch too many scary movies. "You should've seen the look on your faces!" Leo says and laughs again. "What ever, you were screaming too." I say. "It's part of the story smart one." "Not from what I saw." I say copying the Scream face. "Whatever." he says and then I was being lifted up.

I was screaming as I saw that Shane was about to throw me into the bonfire. "Shane!" I scream but he was ready to throw me. I kicked him but he didn't move an inch. Then he counted down. "One.... Two... Three!" he shouts and tossed me into Kyles arms.

The guys laugh at me as I scream. Kyle put me down. "You've crossed the line!" I say and pouted like Torri did and then Shane walked over to me and gave me a I'm sorry kiss. The sorry kiss turned into a make out and then Torri said,"Get a room!" we parted from the kiss and sat back down.

I roasted another marshmallow and Shane ate it. "That was the last one!" I complain and the he gives me an apologetic smile. "It's okay." I say and Shane hugged me. I turn, my nose on his cheek, and then he is kissing me. My whole body is burning and out of breath all at once.

The crew were awing. "I love you Rylee." he says. "I love you too Shane." I tell him and then we all went into our tents since it started to rain.

It didn't rain long so Kyle has to put out the fire. I curled up against Shane and then I felt warm, safe. "You know what song reminds me of you two?" Jamie asked as she pokes her head into our tent. "What song?" Shane asks. "Avery Pkwy - I'm All Yours." she says and then leaves.

That song makes me cry every time I hear it on my iPod. It's so powerful and I always felt like I was connected to the song. Like it was ment for me, but it wasn't. "Are you okay?" Shane asked. "Yeah? Why do you ask that?" "Because you're crying." he says wiling the tears from my eyes. "It's just that, that song is so beautiful." I say and he hugs me. "I should listen to it sometime." he says and I nod my head.

Several minutes passed and Shane and I are asleep. What woke us up were a little girl's voice. It was chanting the name Cassie. "S-shane... You don't suppose to think it's..." my voice trailed off. "It was just a scary story. It was fiction." he says quietly. "It's probably Leo and Kyle." he adds and then the crew ran into our tent. "Did you hear that?" Jade asked. I look to see Kyle and Leo's faces. They looked scared. Perhaps it's just an act.

Another gust of wind blew past us and the little girls voice was still being chanted. "Can you guys stop making that noise?" I asked. "We're not doing anything." Kyle and Leo confessed. "Then it must be..." Torri's voice trembled with fear. "It's not a ghost. It's just the wind howling." Jamie says. "Yeah, a wind chants out the name Cassie." I say sarcastically. "Good way of using personification Rylee." Kyle says and then we saw a shadow.

Shane was holding onto me. I'm scared. This is just like those scary movies! We're all going to die. "Cassie...." the girl's voice faints and then something attacked the tent. The seven of us screamed and ran out of the tent. I see Jared standing outside laughing. "Jared! You a$$hole!" I yell. "Hahahahaha you guys are so easy." he says and Samantha pops out from a tree. That explains the girl voice. "Way to cheer up the spirit." Jamie says mad. "I haven't had a good laugh lime that in ages." Jared says. "Dude, i think I just s**t in my pants!" Leo says almost crying.

In the morning we all went back home and I decoded to stay at Shane's place. Yeah, he bought a one bedroom apartment when I got my car. I set my bag and keys in his counter and sat on the couch.

I picked up the t.v remote and then put it back down and followed Shane into his bedroom.

Then he kissed me. He put one hand on the base of my neck and pulled me closer to him. I slid my hands up his back. I pressed my tongue against his and then back. He brought his hand down my neck, my side and under my t-shirt.

Our clothes are gone. The strength of his arms and hands against me and the heat of his skin. We ripped, pulled and pushed against each other. He held my head back and kissed my neck.

Shane pulled back and we rested, lying next to each other. I just had $ex with him and I feel good about it. I trusted him and he trusted me. It felt like it was my first.

Two weeks later I received a letter in the mail. It was from my mother sending me a wedding invitation. I threw it in the trash but Shane picked it up. "You should attend." he says. I shook my head. "Rylee, she's your mother." he says and I winced at the word mother. "Madeline has never been a mother to me. Why should I attend her wedding?" I ask and made some coffee for the both of us.

Shane did know what to say until my phone rang. It was dad.

He told me that we were going to the wedding since she is the one getting married. We got to bring a date so of course I bring Shane. He was already packing his bag. This is going to be a hell of an wedding.
