Third Person's Pov
She picked up her baby from the nursery cradle where the nurses had kept him. She had delivered about few days ago and really delighted when she discovered the gender of her baby. She knew that this baby will be her ticket back to the life she once walked out on.
Her thoughts got interrupted when her private ward door went opened and Diego walked in. She suddenly felt irritation at the sight of him.
“What are you doing here, Diego?” She asked, making sure he knew how displeased she is to see him.
“You delivered for days now and you couldn't inform me about it?” Diego asked, sadly.
“Now you know, what difference does it make?”
“Vicky…”
“What is it you want Diego?” She asked, trying to control how pissed she is right now.
“I am here to see my child, and you mi amor.” He said and she scoffed.
“How many times do I have to tell you that this child doesn't belong to you.” She said, trying not to raise her voice.
“If this child isn't mine, then whose baby is it?” Diego asked, getting pissed with her attitude.
“It belongs to Javier Ruiz, my husband.” She stated, almost confidently.
Diego stared at her in disbelief before he bursted out laughing so hard that she became concerned if he was okay.
“You are really one funny woman Victoria. Your husband? The last time I checked you both have been divorced for a very long time. So how is he the father of your child, huh?”
“I do not have to explain myself to you. All I know is that Javier is my baby's father. Only a mother knows who her baby father is.” She said.
Diego stared in disbelief.
“What happened to the love we shared? Why do you hate me this much? What did I ever do wrong?” He asked sadly.
“I hate you so much because you ruined my life!” She yelled. “You made me believe in your hopeless love and destroyed my entire life! And that, I can never forgive you for.”
Diego took a step back in complete utter shock from her words.
“Vicky… mi amor”
“This baby of mine is my only hope of getting back what I have lost. So please leave now, I want to rest.” She stated, turning her back to him.
With a broken heart, Diego turned and left. But not without saying “You haven't heard the last of me, Vicky. That child is mine and we both know it.”
She looked down at her sleeping baby in her arms, she smiled.

Daniella's Pov
“How are you doing, dad?” I asked when we are both seated by our old wooden dinner table.
I came by to pay him a visit after I was done helping Helena weed the farm and she ran off to help her mother sell off their fresh tomatoes. So I had to come home and see him before I leave.
The house looked all neat unlike the last time we met. And looking at him, he seems to be getting more older and thin than the last time I saw him. I don't know if he eats or drink himself to sleep everyday as usual because aside the house being neat, I could smell some alcohol in the air.
