The camera clicked on, letting static fill the remaining light before fully clicking on showing a person waving at the camera. Heidi was well, locked in their room again from an incident that they caused by an accident. They said they were sorry a thousand times but they suppose their father didn't want to hear it so they had gotten locked up in their room once again. They hated this treatment.

Why didn't no one else get this?

They were sniffling, wiping away tears and snot with their sleeves, deciding to calm themselves down giving the camera a small smile now.

"My dad locked me in my room again but... that's fine, he said if I acted up again i'll be put in the dark. I hate the dark. So for my father i'll stop misbehaving for him, I didn't mean to break the window....he wasn't too pleased about that...." The camera fizzed out and cut out some of the words Heidi was saying before cutting back in.

"I don't think my father likes me all too well, sometimes his actions and words says one thing yet he does another....I hate the playground"

The camera kept fizzing in and out then they just groaned, having to hit the old camera on the top which started to work again. They sat in a chair, setting the camera on top of their small desk that they had. "My week hasn't been very...great recently, on the bright side though..."

They trailed off, small russling from paper could be heard and a small thud afterwards. They quickly picked it up, reorganizing and cleaning just in case their father came and took a look to what they were doing. They didn't want to get into anymore trouble. Their father always looked for some small reason just to out them in the dark. They hate the dark. Why were they the only one he ng put through this?

"My cousin or...brother maybe, gave me this book and said to read it, well can't wait to read it and will get back to the log in maybe a few hours" Just then the camera blinked before clicking off, fully shutting down.

Soon after a few hours, the camera rebooted back up, blinking and powering back on while Heidi waved at the camera with the biggest smile ever. "Oh this book was amazing! Oh - my - god! One of the bestest books - well I can't say that but like so much action and there was a car chase in the book and it reminds me of my life. That's soooo cool! Oh I love it!" They squealed out in happiness about the book, holding it up with a toothy grin to the camera happily while pointing to the book.

They heard their name being called, while the door was being unlocked. "Freedom at last ha!" That was when they turned the camera off quickly so no onesaw what they were doing. This was a secret between them and the camera, no one else.

They came back, clicking the camera back on with an excited look on their face with their eyes almost twinkling like stars, bouncing around with bag in their hands full of junk. They heard the door click back qhich was most likely one of their siblings that was told to lock them back in or their father. "I got like a...multiule - a multsudes - a lot yeah that word, a lot of candy and sweets then random cups I don't know what i'll do with then...pens! Randomly too I don't know what to do with and uhh...like random keychains that i'll clip to my bookbag then ....pinecones and a blade!..."

They trailed off, dropping all their bags to the ground with a sigh of relief, plopping down into their chair while looking at the blade they just pulled out fron their bag. "I'm going to cut my hair with this!"

Not even ten minutes later, they came back to the camera with half cut and uneven hair, they tried to fix their hair but ..they just made it worse. "Oh no, my dad id going to freak out and even my mom when they see my hair, they need me for the stupid missions or whatever....oh crap" they looked like they just saw a ghost at that moment due to their own face becoming pale maybe just like a ghost. Oh they were so fcked if they didn't fox their hair in someway. Sure it would be short but this wouldn't cut it.
