His breath hitched. The crack in that voice making him shiver with a known feeling. He looked at the younger only to see those damned tears falling down his eyes, something that the rain failed to conceal that night.
"Just say that you didn't do it. Why do you keep acting like you don't know anything? Just say that you are innocent and that we are okay. JUST SAY IT."
Taehyung flinched at the harsh tone. His lips quivered wanting to spill out very word in his mind but his voice decided to betray him in that very moment.
"You can't, right? Then we are over. I'm done with this relationship. I refuse to stay with someone who cannot love me the way I love that person. You broke me with your actions and now the only option that's left is to......"
The boy knew what was coming. His biggest nightmare. The darkest shadow that would never let him experience any light after being casted on his soul. He desperately shook his head, wishing for some miracle to happen but it was already too late.
"I Jeon Jungkook reject you Kim Taehyung as my mate."
Like a bolt of lightening, he felt the throbbing pain of millions of needles pricking at his skin. His body fell down on the pavement writhing with the torment.
"J..Jungkook....." His barely audible call was filled with desperation. He wanted his mate to hold him but the said male was already running away from there hastily, paying no heed to the surroundings.
With his blurry vision Taehyung saw how the love of his life suddenly halted in the middle of the road, getting hit by a car not even milliseconds later. He cried as the male bumped the asphalt with a loud thud. He screamed for help but were his silent pleas even audible to anyone? The boy tried to get up, only to end up falling back onto the pavement again.
And then everything went black.
