The Jeon mansion looked desolate.
It was filled with people but there was nothing between them. Only stares of confusion and a feeling of suffocation in the air. Yoongi sighed for the nth time as he peered at the faces before him. His silence a little too loud.
"Yoon why have you gathered all of us here. Please tell us child. I'm really worried about you and kook." His mother worded out, finally breaking the hush in the room.
"Jungkook got back his memories."
Yoongi announced with a small smile on his face. The revelation a big deal for all their family members.
"Really?! Jungkook did you really........." Jiha ran towards the younger and took him in a tight embrace. "I was so worried. All these days I haven't been able to sleep, eat or do anything else. My heart pained for you and the betrayal you faced but don't worry now. Eomma will keep every bad person away from you."
"And what about hyung? Are you not going to protect him?" Jungkook asked instead.
"I wanted to but he has already made a choice for himself. I tried my best to sway him from making such a bad decision but he was adamant kook. I failed to protect him but I wouldn't let that happen to you." The woman cried. Her face contorted with genuine worry.
"Nothing bad happened Eomma. Taehyung is innocent. I am innocent." Yoongi averred with a firm demeanour. There was something brutal in his form. A kind of hostility that was hard to notice but was present nevertheless.
"Do you have any proof?" Jiha questioned. "You and Taehyung decided to make the worst choices in your life. Jimin and Jungkook suffered because of you both. You were suppose to get married to Jimin but look what you did. You made this boy preg........."
"The pup is mine. I'm the father."
And just like that Jungkook brought the truth to light.
"What!?" Anna exclaimed. "Jungkook what are you even saying. The child Taehyung is carrying belongs to Yoongi Oppa. They got married for this very reason. You were unconscious at that time so you don't know that. Also since the child is his, that definitely means that they slept together and cheated on you and Jimin."
Jungkook glared at his so called childhood friend, his fists clenched as he tried to control the anger coursing through his veins. "I have already formed a connection to my pup. I know that the child is mine. As for that night we are absolutely sure that they didn't do anything. This is the exact reason why we are here. To get some answers from you."
"Are you even hearing yourself?" Haeri stepped forward. The air in the room getting more suffocating than before. "I think you need more time to recover. You are still not in your right mind. How dare you accuse my daughter of doing something to your mate and brother? You should have asked them instead. They were the ones who couldn't keep their hands to themse......"
"SHUT THE FUCK UP!" Yoongi had enough. He was already fuming from within but now he just couldn't stop. "You can stop pretending now. We know that you are behind everything. Just accept it. It will be easier for you."
"You have gone crazy Oppa. Don't try to lie and get away from your actions. Stop trying to manipulate Jungkook." Anna scoffed. "Or was it you Taehyung? Look at yourself. Standing behind Jungkook looking all innocent as if you did not act like a desperate bitch some months ago."
The said omega just gulped the lump in his throat before turning his head away from those accusing faces. He didn't want to get involved in any of this drama and rile himself up. His body already felt weak after all that had happened in the past few hours.
He couldn't risk his pup's health. So he just took a few deep breaths and held onto Jungkook's jacket tightly. The alpha immediately getting into action at the delicate touch.
He turned around and embraced his mate. "You don't have to say anything. I believe you and that's enough Tae. Let them say whatever nonsense they want to." His voice was loud, enough for every ear to hear it. Without giving them any attention he led the pregnant male towards the couch before gently letting him take a seat.
"It's surprising to see how shameless someone can be." Jungkook scoffed as he stood up. His emerald orbs staring right into their souls. "How could you do this to him? You knew that he is pregnant and yet decided to do shit that could have harmed him and our child. We know what you did. There is no point in denying it. Just admit to your crime."
"I did not do anything. I'm not lying......."
"STOP IT! JUST STOP!" Jiha cut her off in between. Her breathing ragged and her eyes red. "How could you do something bad to my children? I accepted you here and you go on to betray us. Is that why you had asked me to marry Anna and Jungkook, Haeri? Were you planning to separate them from the beginning? I trusted you both. How could you?"
"I did not do anything." Anna stamped her feet. "Why don't you guys listen to me? Yes, I like Jungkook and wanted to marry him. I hated Taehyung for coming in between us but I never did anything. The only thing that I'm guilty of is trying to seduce him but he never even looked at me. He only has eyes for this Taehyung."
"That sounds like a reason behind your actions. Now tell us everything from the beginning to the end." Yoongi demanded. His visage sporting a firm expression
"AAAAAAAA!" The girl screamed while pulling her hair in frustration. "I. DID. NOT. DO. ANYTHING. I don't know what you are talking about........"
"STOP LYING NOW." Jiha shouted. "They already know everything. Tell us why did you change Taehyung's medicines? Why did you drug him?"
"I did not......."
"Eomma how do know that Taehyung was being drugged. We never mentioned it."
