A/n: ok so basically I go this idea in the shower and yah

info needed for the fic: so peter has special needs and gets upset randomly and the only thing that can calm him down is either Tony or Pepper singing the sing 'Tree Hugger' also pepper is in France for SI stuff and tony has a meeting w/ the rogues post civil war but Peter wasn't there unnamed random person who I don't feel like coming up with was there instead and peter is 8 yrs old in this fic bcuz I feel like it. also peter is tony and pepers bio son

ok 3rd person pov (oh no i suck at these):

Tony was in a meeting with the Rogue's a little less than a year after the 'Civil war' to figure out what they were going to do where they were going to say, among other things. He had told his son, Peter that his meeting would be done by the time he got home from school so they could do his homework together and then do what he wanted. Unfortunately, the meeting was going a lot longer than he expected. He kept making glances to his watch trying to see whether the meeting might be done by the time Peter arrived home from school. His school ended 10 minutes ago, and Happy picked him up, it took about 20 minutes to get to the tower from Peter's school so Peter would be home in around 10 minutes. Tony quietly sighed knowing that the meeting wouldn't end by the time Peter got home. It was a good thing that beforehand Tony had asked Rhodey to watch Peter if the meeting went long, and to call him if anything happened.

"Tony, you alright? You've been glancing at your watch non-stop." Nat questioned. Tony looked up and noticed everyone looking at him. He nodded and said "Yah, is there any chance we could wrap up the meeting anytime soon?" he asked Fury hopefully. "No shot Stark, we still have a lot to discuss." Fury responded gruffly. Tony nodded and glanced at his watch ang(tf happened this was supposed to be again am I really that sleep deprived?), 5 minutes until Peter would come home.

They continued droning on about the meeting stuff, he wasn't paying that much attention, he was more worried about Peter. It had been 10 minutes since Peter was supposed to get home and he was worried about Peter. Tony stayed zoned out for a couple more minutes when his phone rang. He immediately took it out of his pocket and looked at the caller ID. It was Rhodey. "Hold on guys I have to take this call its urgent" he said standing up and hitting 'answer'. "What could possibly be more impor-" Steve started to say before he got cut off by Tony put a finger to his lip shushing him. "Rhodey what happened is Peter ok?" he asked Rhodey. "Uhm well he's asking for you and he wants 'his song' and he won't stop crying Tony you might want to get down here. Yes Pete I'm calling your dad he's coming he'll sing you your song, ok bud. Tony hurry he really needs you." Rhodey said and hung up.

Tony left the meeting room without a second glance and ran down to hallway to the elevator then he went to the living room where Peter was. "Hey Pete buddy Rhodey, told me you wanted your, song is that right?" Tony asked the boy calmly. Peter nodded and Tony started singing.

"The flower said 'I wish I was a tree'

The tree said 'I wish I could be a different kind of tree'

The cat wished that it was a bee

The turtle wished that it could fly

Really high into the sky over rooftops and then dive into the sea.."

The rogue's and Fury had followed Tony and arrived in the living room and saw him hugging Peter and singing softly to him.

The rogue's all stood and watched amazed that Tony could sing so well.

The rogue's were all shocked that Tony knew French, even if it was just a little bit in the song.

The song finished, and Tony looked at Peter, sleeping in his arms. He stood up to go put Peter in his room thinking they could do his homework later when he saw the Rogue's with their jaws on the floor and Fury who looked kind of shocked. He nodded at them and brought Peter to his room and tucked him into his bed, and kissed him on the forehead. He came back to the living room and whispered to Rhodey to call him if Peter woke up then said to the Rogue's plus Fury. "Ok so how about we finish that meeting."

A/n: Wow that took like 30 mins and it's like 1,000 words. Also I did type all the lyrics myself except for the french I copied from google and the duplicated lyrics i copied and pasted lol. Also aparently my mom would play this song to me when I was younger and I remember listening to it b4 so yay.
