Chapter 2-
A voice woke me saying, "Lane? Laney?" I open an eye to see a ray of daylight and Izzy's bright eyes staring back at me. The shower is running, meaning Monica is in there.
"Good morning," I say rolling over to see it is 8:34 a.m.
"We are going to breakfast when Monica is done getting ready. I was really worried about you, Lane, we couldn't find you last night!" Izzy exclaims.
"Sorry. I just wanted to go back to the hotel last night," I sigh. Then I roll out of bed and got up to get ready.
------------------------------------------------------------
After we had all ordered, Izzy looked up at me with a spark to her eye. "How was your night, Lane? You missed out- we got to wave at our boys!" She says with a blush to her cheek. I roll my eyes at the way she said it.
"It wasn't the greatest. I ran into Harry Styles from that band. He drove me to the hotel because he had knocked me over coming out of the back door of the restaraunt, and he wouldn't let me go. So, he drove me back and wants to meet me again tonight at 6. God, I tried so hard to make it clear that I didn't give a shit about him." I roll my eyes and then catch their mouths wide open.
"You d-did what?!" Monica shrieks.
"Well, now we know why Harry disappeared last night." Izzy says sarcastically, rolling her eyes in disbelief.
"It really happened. Why would I lie about this?" I say defensively. Their expressions freeze. But Izzy's expression breaks within seconds.
"You're so full of it. This isn't even a good prank." Izzy says.
"Izzy! I'm being 100% honest. He even said he was going to come back for me today!" I exclaim.
Monica and Izzy exchange glances.
"I will believe you if you let us help you get ready for your little date." Izzy says with crossed arms.
"Deal."
Although they still don't believe me, we head back to the hotel room. Monica did my makeup, and Izzy picked out my outfit.
And as I let them do all of this, I began to think... I met a really famous boy. He really wasn't that bad. I'm just that stubborn.

At last, 6 o' clock rolls around. Izzy and Monica escort me down to the lobby, and there at the front entrance stands the curly-haired boy. His eyes land on me. I can't help but blush slightly. Harry really wasn't joking about seeing me again.
Izzy and Monica immediately rush over to him, but Harry continues to grin at me.
"Hi I'm Monica." Monica interrupts Harry's glance by grabbing his hand. "Oh, and this is Izzy."
Knitting her eyebrows together in annoyance, Izzy says, "I think I know how to introduce myself."
As my friends argue in their own little way, Harry and I have this silent conversation with our eyes. The conversation was most likely about my crazy friends. This is why I can't be friends with a celebrity- especially Harry- because my friends will be like this. That and my parents would not allow this in a million years.
I love my friends to death, but this gets old really quickly. At least after I get this dinner over with, Harry will move on and forget I ever existed. I'm just another project that he has to make happy. I guess I have to admire him for caring enough though.
"Monica, Izzy, it's time for us to go. I will be back later." I say, cutting my friends off from bombarding Harry with questions.
They finally back off and let Harry and I go.
Harry opens the car door for me, and I get in carefully.
Hopefully tonight will be better than I expect.

Our dinner date was simple. Light conversation, telling of our likes and dislikes. It was nice. We had a private table at the back of the restaurant. But now it's after dinner, and I am kinda sad it's over.
Screaming fans and paparazzi outside of the restaurant made me feel uncomfortable. Especially since Harry led me through the crowds holding onto my hand like we were a couple.
Finally we got back in his car, but he took a different turn out of the parking lot than I was expecting.
"Alright, Curly, where are you taking me?" I ask with my arms crossed.
"A very special place." Harry smirks.
I roll my eyes, even though inside I know I don't want this date to end.
We arrive at a hotel. It is nice hotel- no doubt about that.
Harry ends up taking me to his room and sets me down next to him on the couch. His green eyes are melting me. I smile and a blush creeps over my cheeks.
"This? This is your very special place?!" I ask, jokingly giving him a hard time.
"Hey- it is a kind gesture!" Harry remarks, followed by a laugh. Then, the room grew silent for a second.
"Harry, I have to admit. I had fun tonight." I smile gently. Honestly, I like him- a lot. But reality check: I'm 17 and he's a 19 year old, extremely famous boy. And I barely know him..
"Me too." He smiles back and intertwines his fingers with mine.
A moment of silence creeps over the room.
"Stay with me!" He spills out, obviously not thinking about his words.
My mind freezes. "W-what?" I question, puzzled.
"Sorry. St-stay with me, tonight." He says, looking at me hopeful.
I don't know how to reply. But then the word "yes" comes out like word-vomit.
He smiles widely. "You can sleep on the bed, and I will take the couch."
"Okay." I reply.
Harry stares at me for a second. I immediately feel self-conscious and heat rises to my cheeks.
"W-what?" I ask.
"Nothing." He replies with a smile. I smile too.
"So do you want to put a film on?" Harry asks cutely.
"A film?" I question with a small chuckle. "Who says that?"
Harry shrugs. "It's a British thing." He says, matching my small chuckle.
"Well. Alrighty then. Let's put a film on." I say. Harry smiles and gets up to put a movie in.
I don't even remember what we ended up watching because I passed out with Harry's arm around me.
Best night ever, but my parents will kill me if they find out. So, they won't.
