Chapter 33: I Want

Ch 33:

:NAILLS POV:

Laney and I took the train back to London, and I took her to my flat. I cared about her, and even though I had no idea what went down between her and Harry, I would look out for her.

We got back to London at 10pm. (A.N: theres a 1 hr time difference between London and Paris so its 11pm in Paris) I slumped down in the couch after unpacking and helping Laney settle in.

"You alright, babe?" I asked her, as she sat down next to me.

"I am now." She smiled.

I chuckled, "but really?"

She stared at the ground for a moment and shook her head. "I'm pregnant."

"What?!" I stood up.

"It was my birthday. Don't judge." Laney muttered, blushing.

"No judgement. It's just, why would he leave you at a time like this?" I questioned. Harry was an idiot.

"It wasn't him. I left him because he wanted to chose another option for the baby." She explained.

I made an o-shape with my mouth. "So he wanted to abort it." I stated.

"Yes, something like that. I'd like to think he would put it up for adoption because I don't want to believe he would kill the baby." She replied, nodding to herself.

"Well.. What do you want?" I asked softly. Laney's expression froze. Her eye lashes fluttered.

"Niall... I don't know.." She trailed off, fiddling with her fingers.

"Yes you do." I stated, waiting for a sincere answer.

Laney sighed, glanced down, then looked me in the eye and said, "I will never chose abortion. I don't want it. But I don't know if I would like putting it up for adoption because then it's out of my hands. I guess I want to have this baby."

I smiled at her answer and hugged her. I felt her bury her face into me. Laney was a truly amazing girl.

:HARRYS POV:

I couldn't sleep. I needed to know where Laney is. She hadn't answered my calls. Liam, Zayn, and Louis hadn't seen her. And I am guessing Niall hadn't seen her because he headed back home. Might as well try him, even though I'm almost positive he hasn't seen her.

****ring ring ring ring****

"Ello?" Niall answered.

"Hey man. I was wondering if you've heard from Laney. She ran off on me earlier and I haven't seen her since. I'm worried sick and she won't answer my calls." I explained worriedly.

"Acccttuuuaallyyy.. She's with me." He said.

What the fuck!?!

"What the hell man! Why didn't you tell me? Is she ok? Where are you?" I interrogated angrily.

"Yea, she's fine now. We are at my flat. I don't think she wants to see you right now. She's pretty sore about earlier." Niall sighed.

"Has she talked to you about it?" I asked. I kind of hoped she hadn't. I was supposed to be the one there for her.

"Yeah. I know about the pregnancy and everything. She really just needed someone to vent to." Niall said. Fuck. She really vented to Niall?

"Well, I will drop Laney's stuff off when I get back into town. Tell her I'm not mad and she can call me or come back whenever and I will be here for her. I think Nessy misses her too." I replied, looking over at Vanessa who is watching me intently.

"Ok. I will. I need to go, Laney isn't feeling well right now." Niall said. Then he hung up.

What did he mean 'Laney isn't feeling well right now'?!?!?!

"Is Laney ok?" Vanessa asked, inching towards me.

"I think so." I replied, unconvincingly. Vanessa sent me a half smile. I patted the bed, signaling for her to come over. Shyly, she came over and sat next to me on the bed. I kissed her forehead gently and pulled the sheets over her.

"Goodnight Nessy."

"Goodnight Harry."
