Chapter 15:
:LANEY'S POV:
We are on the plane to Philadelphia for One Direction's next concert. Flying is always interesting. I love it because I am with my 5 favorite boys, but at the same time it scares me because I am with 5 insane boys.
We have just taken off, and my mind keeps flashing back to my mom's texts from just a few minutes ago.
- MILD FLASHBACK-
Text from Mom:
Hey honey! How are you today? I miss you, when are you coming home?!
My reply:
Everything's great! I'm having a ton of fun! I'm not ready to come home though.
From Mom:
Well I was thinking, maybe you could just come home in a couple weeks- two months is awfully long. Besides, you don't need to get too attached ;)
My reply:
Mom. I am fine. I can take care of myself. Gotta go love you xoxox bye.
-END OF FLASHBACK-
I catch myself deep into thought, staring out the plane window.
"Lane, are you alright?" Harry's voice pulls my attention out of my haze.
"Oh, yeah... just thinking." I reply, batting my eyes away from the window. Harry studies me closely, trying to read me, but I don't think he can.
"If you say so," he replies, planting a kiss on my cheek. I force a smile in return.

The plane ride was pretty short. I have listened to music with Harry for most of it. Now we stand in the airport, which I hate doing. There's always a lot of people, and I don't do well in crowds anymore ever since the incident at the concert.
"You guys should go on a date tonight!" Louis exclaims- very loudly.
"Louis! Lets not attract attention please!" Liam says, shutting Louis up.
"That actually sounds quite nice." Harry replies and smiles down at me.
I nod back with a sweet smile. "Yeah it does."

As soon as we have checked into the hotel, settled into our rooms, and gotten ready, Harry and I head out to a restaurant down the road. He made a private reservation so that we can enjoy a meal together without paparazzi.
We sit down at our table, and the waitress blushes every time she looks at Harry. I must say, it is quite funny.
But at last- Harry and I are alone.
"Lane, what happened on the plane today... you were... off?" Harry questions.
"Ehmm.. Nothing." I reply rather shortly, hoping to change the topic.
"Laneyy.. Don't lie to me. We don't keep secrets from each other." Harry says, grabbing my hands and holding them inside of his. It's really too bad he's so charming.
"Well, Harry, my mom was texting me. She told me she wanted me home earlier from the tour and-" I cut myself off to avoid ruining such a romantic dinner.
