The crunching of bones felt like a melody to my ears.
Satisfaction.
"Please.....I'm sorry" the man who is tied to ceiling cries.
Though I don't feel anything towards anyone because of my fucked up mind. Not that I'm complaining. It works fine for me. I actually have a word for this man.
Pathetic.
"Say that again?" my voice eco in the empty room.
"Please" he beg wriggling.
"I wonder if the little girl you raped also begged like this."
"I—I'm sorry---" his word end up in a cry of agony when I plunge my knife in his balls.
"You know I hate this word. Sorry is the most useless word." I twist my knife cutting off his junk.
"Help---" he passed out soon
I clean my knife before placing it back on the table. The table is covered with every equipment one can use for torture. I pick up the adrenaline injection and inject it into his body.
Moments later he opens his eyes and again starts trembling. Fucking weak bastard.
"Your session is not over"
"Why—did you—fight—my case?" he ask in broken words
I walk leisurely around the room deciding which weapon to choose. A gun? No. It will be too quick. Knife? I don't want mess. I finally decided on dagger.
"I fight your case because scum like you deserve punishment. From the devil itself" I say before stabbing him in the neck. He gurgles on his blood and thrashes his feet.
I leave the room and order my men to clean the space. I quickly change into my pristine suit and shoes. Looking like a normal human being. Or as normal I can get.
I leave the space and drive off to the main city. The roads are almost dark and the only source of light is the moon. Anyone else may fear this but I thrive on darkness. Darkness is my home.
People tend to think I'm an emotionless man. A person who feels nothing. Well, they aren't wrong. I don't feel emotions. I accepted this long ago but there are others who still feel hopeful. Like my family. They think I can be normal. Unaware of the fact what lurks behind my eyes.
If there is one thing I learned, it's the art of pretending. People tend to be fine until you are pretending. So I did just that. I pretend to be normal around my family.
"You're late" a voice calls when I enter my house. I turn back to see my eldest brother standing in the hallway.
"Last I checked I wasn't a kid anymore" I reply.
Vihaan is my eldest brother and holds himself responsible for everything. After my bastard father left, he and Arush, my second brother was the one who look after our family. They tried their best to protect everyone but somehow failed in my case. Not that I hold them responsible.
