New day. New life.
I read out the quote written on the board in the café we are occupying. I am meeting with girls today to celebrate Dhara's engagement.
"When will they come" Ishika frowns looking at her watch. I and Ishika arrive early but Dhara and Sharvari are yet to arrive.
"Must be traffic" I shrug slurping my drink. The traffic here is insane. You can't cross road without waiting for minutes.
We engage in our own conversation. She tells me about her college life. She is an art student and an aspiring artist. She has displayed some of her painting in exhibitions and wants to have her own one day. I don't doubt her. I have seen a few of her paintings and I've seen her working hard for it. She comes from money but doesn't take that for granted. There are things that surpasses 'talent', and she has them all. She will be a great artist.
"What's up girlies!!" Sharvari speaks entering the café, followed by Dhara.
"Show me the ring" I jump out to see Dhara's ring. She forwards her hand blushing.
"Holy Jesus! Is this pink diamond?" I awe looking at the beautiful ring. It's a decent and simple ring that seems like something Dhara would like the man knows her, but it screams how much it is worth. I only saw the pink diamond in pictures.
"Arush spent a fortune on it. But still it is nothing compare to his own diamond he got back." Sharvari winks playfully.
"It's beautiful. I always knew Arush has a great taste" Ishika smiles.
"SO!! Tell me about your grand proposal." I rub my hand in excitement to hear their story.
"He proposed me on a hot air balloon. In air. It was magical. I still think sometimes I am dreaming." Dhara says
"Then start believing it because your dress is ready." Shivika says joining us. I give her a hug as she sits beside me.
"Really? How did you finish it this soon" Dhara ask
"Told you I was already working on it. And now it's done. I can't wait to see you in that dress" Shivi answers.
"Ladies. We are forgetting something" I speak
"What?" Ishika asks with a frown.
"Bachelorette Party. That's the most important part." I squeak
"Damn right it is. I'm going to enjoy it cause I didn't get my own" Sharvari says
"I am going to throw the best bachelor party ever." I grin
"Oh no" Shivi gasp in horror.
"This wedding just got better" Sharvari smirk over her glass.
We all talk for long time about wedding planning. The event is going to be private with close ones only. And the date is after two weeks. The best part is everything is being organized by family members. They are not hiring a professional wedding planner which would actually be obvious.
