My knee bounces with restlessness as I sit still in my chair, hearing about the attack on my men. There has been agitation in my body since I wake up this morning. It's like my insides are telling me something bad is about to happen. It doesn't help the matter that I have to leave Emory behind.
"Their faces were covered with mask. They attack on me from behind" Marco, one of my men, explains the whole scene to me.
"They didn't kill him. It's like they wanted to let you know it. It feels like some sort of trap." Raj states
"I know. There is something missing" I say thinking about all the possibilities. Why do they want my attention diverged?
The phone on my desk starts ringing the next moment. The moment I see Jay's name flashing on the screen, a feeling of dread forms in the pit of my stomach. All of a sudden, my hands become clammy and I fear to receive the call.
"What happened?" I bark in a dreadful tone. The sound of laboured breaths come from other side.
"Devil....they attacked. They took her" The words slam into me with full force, knocking out my lungs out of air. My body starts trembling with fury and fear.
"Where are you" I grit, already out of my office. Raj follows me behind. After Jay tells me his location. I drive straight to it. I don't see anything in my path. I drive like a madman who is ready to kill anyone who dares to come in his way.
The scene that greets me on the location is a mess. My SUV is upside down and Jay is half stuck under it. Raj quickly runs to help him out while I go to the passenger seat, hoping to see her. It is foolish but I can't think of the possibility that someone took her away from me.
The door of her side is stuck out and there is blood on the seat. I crouch down to look for anything that will help me find her. The shining of the ring draws my attention and I notice her ring is left behind. The stone is covered with blood, making me see red. I'm going to kill them all with my bare hands.
"Get him medical help." I order Raj who is helping Jay. He might help me but he is no position to talk. I have to find my woman on my own.

I make my way to the vacant house and kick open the door. The sound of clashing of door against the wall alert the man sitting on chair, getting his cock sucked. The hooker instantly crawls back when she sees me with a gun.
"Where is she?" I get to the point. I don't have a single second to waste. I know exactly what will happen as the time goes by. Fuck. I can't imagine what she is going through right now. The what-ifs are the worst part. I need to know she is still breathing.
"I-I-don't know" the fucker stutters thinking it is wise to lie me. I saw him on the footage when they were dragging Emory to the car. He is not the main man of the gang but he surely knows where they operate. He worked for them many times.
