I've been talking to the, what I now know is a mimic, it doesn't say much to my questions. It does give information on Eliza Adams. It says she was a friend of his before she changed.
"Changed?"
"She is not herself. Something took her. Long, black, and vacant." It responds," Not really her a fake. A puppet."
I believe my suspicions to be true. Eliza was taken by an Alter. It slides me a photo.
" She was pretty," It croaks," Now she's a monster."

I wonder why Eliza was friends with a mimic. Hmm. The closer I get to even a small answer the more it leads me to more questions.
"Why are you here?"
"You had taken my music," It simply says," so I followed your scent."
"My scent?"
"Yes, every human smells different," It says.
"Why does smell matter?"
It pauses," Mimics not only mimic noise but can mimic smell."
