Insomnia [Stray Kids FF]

ㄴChapter 9ㄱ

"Y/N!!!"

"Oh god! Jieun what's wrong?", you jump out of bed to hug her.

"Stray Kids have landed at the airport!", she half screams.

"Really?", you say completely annoyed getting some space between you and her, "that's it? I thought you're about to die!"

"Yeah, actually I'm near!", she laughs.

Today is the day of the days... you need to talk to doctor Kim about the concert... but it's the last day to get tickets as well, so you need to do it if you want to or not!

"Hello doctor Kim.", you greet her as you enter her room.

"Hello y/n, come inside.", she smiles at you.

Slowly you make your way to the chair inside the room, but today the distance seems longer than ever. You always need to think about her not allowing you to go.

"Y/n, what's wrong? I can see there is something on your mind."

"Well, ehh ... yeah ...", you stutter a little bit scared, "actually, there is something I want to talk about."

"Okay, tell me. You know I'm here for you."

"You know... the boy group I listen to..."

"What's with them?", she asks already in alert. 

"They have a concert. Next week here in Bangkok and I want to go there. But since I'm still here, I don't know if I'm allowed to."

"Oh god. I hope you know that I'm your doctor and I only want the best for you, right?"

"Yeah, I know that."

"Then you probably can understand my decision, that I won't let you go there. The risk is too high for your mental state."

"I already thought you would answer like that."

"Don't be disappointed, they will come another time to Bangkok. Until then you will hopefully recover and be able to go there with your full strength!"

"Isn't there any way, that I can go there?"

"No, y/n. I hope you can understand. Maybe not directly, but one day you will."

"Yeah"

After that you continue with the meeting and the normal conversations about your problems.

"Jieun!", this time you storm into her room, but she isn't there. You make the way to her bed and sit down on it. Then you hear the door open.

"Oh hey! You scared me for a moment!", she greets.

"Hey!", you say not knowing how to explain to her.

"What's wrong?", she already notices your weird behavior.

"You know, I had an appointment with doctor Kim. I told her about the concert and that I want to go there. But she doesn't want me to go. My mental state is allegedly not ready for it.", you look on the ground.

Jieun sits down next to you and hugs you from the site: "Then I won't go either."

"No no no no no no no no! You will go! Even without me, don't let me ruin your concert!"

"But it's not fair to go without you!"

"It is!", you reassure her, "just think as if you would go for both of us!"

"Would that be really fine with you?", she asks worried.

"Yeah of course! But you need to answer me a whole questionnaire about everything!"

"Oh you're the best! Sure, I'll do that. Even if that means we need to talk for a whole month!", she says with a huge smile on her face.

"Okay than it's a promise?", you hold out your finger for a pinky promise.

"Definitely!", she does the same.

Back at your room, after you were together with Jieun for the whole day, it gets darker and darker outside. Today everything seems so heavy and again, you were reminded of how unstable your mental state is. It's not only the ban for the concert, it's just everything and the whole situation.

You wear your headphones and start to listen to songs from Stray Kids. Normally it calms you down, but not today. Waiting for the last doctor to come and look for the last time today for you, you sit on a chair looking outside the window. Slowly your thoughts drift away, what if you could leave the clinic just for a little bit of air and only for a few minutes?

The door opens and you come back into reality from your thoughts. A doctor comes in, this time it's a woman you never saw before.

"Hello!", she greets and smiles at you widely, "you're y/n, right?"

"Yeah, that's me!", you smile back at her.

"I'm doctor Shinwara, you probably didn't saw me before, since I was on a little vacation.", she introduces herself.

"Nice to meet you.", you try to sound polite.

She checks up on you and asks you a few questions. Then she leaves and you are free for tonight. You put on warm clothes, your boots and a jacket, ready to sneak out. Just in case you put your identity card and the card of the clinic into the pocket of your jacket. Like this you leave, luckily nobody notices you. In front of the clinic you start running right into the cool air.

You run and run until you arrive at the nearest park. Then you slow down and walk through the little place of nature in the middle of the city. You enjoy the lonely darkness around you for the first time in years. Walking on you can see a bench and sit down on it. It has a beautiful few to a little pond and as you hear the water everything overcomes you.

Your whole emotions start to come up and you start crying. Luckily nobody's there and you can just enjoy crying on your own in the darkness.

As you stop crying for a moment you look around you, but when you look behind you to the path you came from, eight black clothed men stare at you.
