Insomnia [Stray Kids FF]

ㄴChapter 28ㄱ

*knock* *knock*

You run over to your door and open it...

"I'm sorry, like I told you... I wouldn't make it in time...", you let the boys in.

"Don't worry, we're five minutes too soon as well...", Felix reassures you.

"Where is Minho?", you are confused by only seeing seven of them.

"Well that's a longer story... he comes extra in like ten minutes...", Chan explains embarrassed.

"We have to wait anyway!", Jisung laughs.

Twenty minutes later all of you are settled in a small van. Chan is driving and you sit in the back row in between Minho and Jeongin.

„Chan!", you half scream to the front.

„What is it sweetheart?", he asks sweetly.

„Can you please tell me where we are driving to? The others won't open their mouths!"

„No, you have to wait a little longer.", he says ending the conversation and focusing on the road.

A little bit annoyed about the secretiveness you lay your head against Minho's shoulder and mutter to yourself: "Oh these dumb pabos!"

"I hope I didn't hear that right...", Minho whispers.

"Oooops, I didn't say that out loud right?", you mutter to yourself again.

"Well I heard that too...", Jeongin leans against your shoulder, as you do with Minho.

"You know that we would like to tell you, right?", Minho asks.

"Then why don't you tell me?", you ask back, in a tone like a little child lost his ice cream to the floor.

"We got bribed and threatened...", Jeongin explains and Minho finishes: "... by the one who's driving."

Now Felix turns around to face you, obviously he heard everything: "He said, that he would burn down our album and photo card collection!"

"OMG! He didn't do that?", you start laughing.

"What is there to laugh about back there?", Chan gets suspicious from the drivers seat.

"Uhm, eh, nothing...", Jeongin stutters.

"Just talking about a Donald Duck Comic that we all read...?!", Felix tries to make an excuse.

"Whatever.", Chan mutters loudly.

"Here we are!", Hyunjin's voice echoes from the other front seat through the van.

All of you exit the van and you look around. You are out of the city in a quiet environment, you can see a small picnic table with lots of snacks on a big picnic blanket. Around is a meadow, but the grass isn't high, it is well kept, a fairytale like tree protrudes over the picnic place and the leaves hang down in long lines. The sun is already about to fall and an amazing red tone is put on the sky. You can hear water nearby and discover a small pond behind the picnic place. As it gets darker you realize an amount of small candles all over the place, it looks like, what everyone would dream of.

"Woah", the words escape your mouth.

"Impressed?", Changbin asks teasingly, while sneaking his hands around your waist hugging you from behind.

You lean back and look at him: "Definitely!"

Suddenly Chan grabs your hand and starts running to the picnic blanket. Soon all of you are placed around the small table enjoying the snacks. The boys and you talk about a lot of stuff and always have something to smile or laugh about.

When the food is finished you all decide to go for a walk around the pond. While walking you hold onto Seungmin's and Jisung's hands, the others also hold hands in threes: Chan, Felix and Changbin and Minho, Jeongin and Hyunjin. Everyone enjoys the others presence and the whole walk it is quiet, but at the same time comfortable and relaxed.

Back at the picnic blanket Chan and Changbin put the table into the van and Felix and you take the blanket to lay it right to the shore of the pond.

Everyone lays back down and making you lie somehow in the middle of the eight boys. Everything is calm, you can hear the breathing of the boys and the water of the pond slowly flowing with the wind.

As it gets colder Chan and Jisung go back to the van and pick up some blankets, everyone curls up in them and cuddles against each other.

"Y/n?", Chan asks.

"What is it?", you respond.

"We want to tell you, that we love you so much and that you mean the world to us.", Chan goes on.

"We care about you more than others.", Felix speaks.

"We would fight for you against everyone...", Seungmin says.

"... and everything in our way.", Jisung finishes Seungmins sentence.

"We would climb every mountain to save you!", Changbin states.

"And swim through every ocean to be with you.", Jeongin tells.

"We would do everything to make you smile and be happy.", Hyunjin speaks.

"In the end we would even give our lives for you.", Minho finishes.

"Oh goodness, that's overwhelming, I didn't expect that! I don't even know how to respond. I'm speechless.", you tell.
Then you breathe and collect your thoughts for a moment, "For your knowledge, I love you so so so much as well and I would do all these as well."

All of you come closer and cuddle against each other enjoying the view of the pond and the stars on the sky.
