Insomnia [Stray Kids FF]

ㄴChapter 15ㄱ

"I want you to know that we'll have to leave the day after tomorrow.", he says in a sad tone.

You hug him in a friendly way from the side and the more you think about it, you get sadder and sadder: "I knew that this day will arrive... but...", you stop without a reason.

Chan asks worried: "Y/n, what is it?"

Minho caresses your back and you start to speak on: "...but we'll stay friends right?"

"Of course!", Changbin immediately states.

"The distance won't get us apart.", Hyunjin sounds as if he tries to convince himself.

"Yeah, don't worry!", Felix says.

Minho pulls you a little closer and promises you: "I'll write you a text message everyday!"

You pull back out of the hug and look directly into Minho's eyes: "You better keep your promise!"

"I'll definitely!", he answers reassuring.

"I'll do it tooooooo!!!!", Jeongin screams.

"Count me in as well!", Seungmin says smiling.

"Oh boys!", you start to laugh, "don't get your boyfriends over here jealous!"

But in contrast to the reaction you expected the other ones promise to write a text message as well.

Chan's phone rings and he goes outside the room while answering the call.

"How about we meet tomorrow before we have to leave the day after?", Jisung suggests.

"I would love that!", you cheer, "but don't you guys have to organise things and all that stuff?"

"Yeah, of course we have... but we'll make some free time for you!", Hyunjin seems very looking forward.

"Okay great! Then what time and where?", you ask getting the plan into reality.

"What about the afternoon, about four o'clock ? Until then we could be finished with everything...?", Minho says.

"Sure, I think so!", Changbin agrees.

"Well, I don't think we're in good hands in public, so can we just meet here again, if you're fine with it?", Seungmin thinks loudly.

"Sure sounds great! Then I'll wait here for you tomorrow!", you say happily and the boys nod happily as well.

Chan comes back inside: "Guys! The manager called!"

All of them directly sit still, by just hearing this word. They are looking expecting into Chan's direction.

"First of all we have to go now, since it is already late..." Chan starts speaking but gets interrupted by a complaining Hyunjin.

"But we never had to be back by that time!"

"Here we come to my second of all... I have a bad message."

All facial expressions turn into a really scared ones.

"Well, unfortunately, the manager told me that we have to take the plane tomorrow evening. JYP made the order, I'm sorry, I would have loved to stay a little longer as well!", he says sad, like he doesn't know how to handle the situation.

All of the boys faces turn really sad and frustrated.

Soon Felix speaks up, his voice seems deeper than usual: "Well boys, let's go and get our stuff done, that we can get back here as soon as possible!"

All of you nod agreeing to his plan. Together you stand up and walk to the door. Nobody says a word and everyone is deep in thought. Before you can open the door, all of them take you in a warm hug and say goodbye. After that they leave.

Slowly you walk back to your couch and feel empty without them. Everything felt so lively. You clean up the mess all of you did and make yourself a sleep tea. While you wait for it to finish, you do your evening routine. Drinking your tea you sit on your bed.

Drifting away with your thoughts, you come to the conclusion, that you actually missed it.

When the tea cup is empty you search in your phone for your sleep playlist. It's a mix of slow Stray Kids songs and rain sounds. You made it a habit in the clinic, to listen to these, until you sleep.

Listening to Insomia and after it to the most relaxing rain sound you ever heard you already fell asleep!

The next morning you wake up and realise, that you only woke up three times last night and as well you could sleep after you woke up.

With new positive energy you stand up and open your bedroom door. You smell something that you can't identify. It comes from your kitchen.

Slowly and a little bit scared you walk inside and find a plate of pancakes on your table.

Scared you look three times around, if somebody's there. Then you spot a little piece of paper next to it and your key as well.

Good morning Y/n,

I'm sorry for taking secretly your key yesterday. But I couldn't stop myself, because of my idea for this surprise. Hopefully you're not mad at me.

I hope your were able to sleep a little bit!

"When did he took my key?!", you ask yourself, but at the same time you're happy about his idea.

After finishing breakfast you head to the clinic for your daily meet with doctor Kim.

On your way there, your phone rings. You look at the caller ID and immediately get panic to answer.
