Insomnia [Stray Kids FF]

You look through the little peephole and can't believe your eyes...

Jieun stands in front of your door. You open it and she jumps directly into your arms to hug you.

"Hiiiiiiiiiiiiii!", she screams.

"Hey! What are you doing here?", you ask confused.

"Well my clinic rules got less stricter and I can go where I want throughout the day. That's why I asked Mrs. Kim for your address and since she knew, that we are best friends... did she made an exception and gave it to me."

"Sounds great! Do you wanna eat something with me? I have made too much for dinner anyway!", you laugh.

"Yay! I'm actually hungry...", she grins.

You show her your apartment and then you eat. After you finish you sit down in the living room.

"Jieun?"

"Yep, that's my name!", she laughs.

"I have to tell you something.", you have a serious expression and her good mood fades.

"Okay... you make me scared..."

"Well, I told you already, that I want to study again."

"Yeah, you did."

"I decided that I want to study dance pedagogy."

"That sounds great, what's about all the bad mood?"

"I'm actually really happy about it! But the university isn't located in Bangkok."

"Oh, that means you're leaving me? Where is it?", she starts to cry silently.

"It's in Seoul, but that doesn't mean I'm leaving you."

"That's so far away! Of course you're leaving me!"

"I'm not leaving you, I'll be always by your side and I'm going to call you per video call, every free time I have!"

"But you're going to be gone!", her crying gets heavier.

"No, I won't."

"You will."

"I'm going to remind you of me so often, that you will be so annoyed, that you wish me to stop!"

"I hope so."

"You know what is important to know?"

"What?"

You hug her and start to speak: "Friends are always around you, but best friends, like you to me and the other way around are something different. You can't always see them, because they might be not around. But you still know, that they are here for you and will listen to you, even from far away. They will always care about you, even if they are in a different country. They are something that can't leave you, best friends that are meant to be best friends, are tied together with an invisible orange thread. This orange thread will always remind your head, to keep an eye on this person, to care for it and to never let it down."

"Woah! I never excepted you to have such a poetic side, but I like the theory!", she hugs you tighter while crying with a little smile on her face.

"That's all you need to keep in your mind, then we will never end to be best friends.", you smile.

"Okay, I think I'm fine and I'm really happy that you found something you like to do. As well, say 'hello' to the boys from me.", she grins.

"Sure, I'll give it to them!"

"Thank youuuu!"

After a few new topics to get a better mood, Jieun says goodbye and leaves to go back to the clinic.

The next day you packed your belongings into suitcases, since you moved to Thailand with only a few things, it isn't a problem to get everything packed. Even tough it took half a day to do it. The other half of the day you spend with Jieun in the clinic.

When you want to leave she starts to cry again, but you prepared something for her. You gave her your little present and she smiled from one ear to the other. It was an orange threat as a bracelet. On this one hung the two first letters of your names.

"Just remember to wear it often and don't forget about me!", you say to her.

"Sure, I'll wear it everyday and I won't forget you!", she smiles.

You hug her for a long time, but then you have to go. She smiles at you and wishes you happiness and success, you do the same. Then it is a 'goodbye'.

The final day has arrived! Today you will leave Thailand to live in South Korea, even though you are a little bit sad to leave, you are even happier to arrive. Like Stray Kids told you, you wear a hood and a mask. As you arrive at the airport you feel like a celebrity or something, but after a few stares nobody cares about you anymore. Obviously had nobody recognizes you that day. You go through all the security checks and board the plane for your five hours flight. You put your phone on airplane mode and while the flight you start to fall asleep.

Suddenly the whole plane starts shaking and people start screaming loudly.
