What the fuck?

"What do you mean you created it?" I ask dumbfounded. "The twins made up the system from scratch and empowered it to be unbreakable."

"Yes, they created the system I wanted them to create." She says not bothering to look up or elaborate more.

"What the fuck? What do you mean by the system 'you wanted'?!" Dom takes a tentative step towards her.

Sighing, she looks around at us and her eyes land on father. They seem to communicate something between them.

"You never told them," she stated on a whisper.

She is not asking, she is saying it as a matter of factly.

"Tell us what exactly?!!" Dom's yelling fills the otherwise empty warehouse.

"One of you better start explaining before I lose my shit! There is already a lot of secrets we don't know, stop fucking adding to them!!" He only gets louder.

Oh shit.

Nothing good comes from angry Dominic. He turns monstrous when angry.

Its never a good idea to make any of us angry. Especially Dom.

Mariposa moves gracefully around the table, her long silky braid swaying in front of her luscious body.

I can feel myself being drunk in love like some teen who found love for the first time.

Here unique striking eyes hold me captive in their depths whenever they land on me.

My girl is a walking piece of art.

Shaking my head to stop my thoughts from going south. She is a distraction and I need to stay focused.

She walks all the way to where dad is standing, her back to us as she faces him.

"Sam, you don't have to tell them anything, sweetheart. I will let them know what they need to know. If you don't want to talk about it, it's ok." Dad says placing a kiss on her forehead and hugging her shoulders.

He looks sad. My ruthless father is sad. That man is never sad without a good reason.

"If I want them to trust me to keep you safe and to trust my work then I will need to give them the truth. Especially the parts about you and Auntie. I know you hid the truth to keep me safe, but I think its time. It's time for this truth and other ones as well." She looks at us as she continues, "I am so sorry about this. I didn't know that he didn't tell you about anything. You deserved to know the truth from the start." Genuine guilt and worry are etching her face.

That means she is not the one that told them to keep these information secret.

I can see the confusion and hesitation on my brothers' faces.

I look up to see dad looking at her softly with a worried expression.

She leans closer to him and starts whispering, "Uncle, I am so sorry you had to hide those things from your family. You could of just told them. Even though I never knew them, I trusted them just like I trust you. You didn't have to go through that hell alone, you should have told me."
