Asher

It has been a three days since we first met Samara and started working on the safe room.

A lot of progress was made regarding the safe room. The walls are all almost reinforced, the electrical panels almost complete, and the inside environment is much more suitable for a safe room. The only thing that we couldn't touch without ruining everything else was the glass wall, and Samara was loosing her shit about that.

After what happened the first night we met her, we make sure she is resting a lot and eating as much as possible. Of course, we get yelled at; but I prefer her yelling at me than watch her go through that again.

That night I felt my heart in my throat, I couldn't breathe, couldn't move. The way her limp body was laying on the couch brought feelings I never felt since mom's and dad's accident. And after knowing she was well enough for the night, we went to bed, but never slept. Each one of my brothers, including me, was checking on her every thirty minutes. Cole was constantly texting us that she was fine but we wanted to see for ourselves.

I thought we couldn't get more attached to her, but I was greatly mistaken. We follow her around like little ducklings, we sacrifice our comfort for her, and hang on to every word she says and we fucking enjoy it. We have never been like that with any woman before, that whore five years ago included. We are beyond smitten, we are completely obsessed with her. If we lose sight of her for one second we go crazy.

The next morning after meeting her, my brothers and I had an emergency meeting regarding her and we agreed that she is ours. She doesn't know that yet though, but soon she will.

Cole told us what Oliver shared with him when we went upstairs, and I can positively confirm that a lot of men has been dying throughout the city for -cough, cough- unknown reasons.

We kept everyone she doesn't know away from her whenever we were with her, which was all the time, but she was starting to catch on.

That woman is a freaking genius to her core, we always get called on. Her ideas and thinking are pure gold. It was all proven by only four days of knowing her.

She has us in a fucking choke hold and we have known her for less than 48 hours.

We still don't know a lot about her, she doesn't like sharing anything about herself. We also don't know what her condition is but we know that she actually do tell when she is tired or hurting.

And right now she is being wrestled into a chair by Dom because she coughed once. And guess what? He got kicked in the nuts.

"I said I'm fine, you shithead! Stop interrupting me so I figure out how to remove this fucking piece of glass!" And just like that, Dom got yelled at for the sixth time today and it is only 1 PM.

With him in the lead at six times of getting yelled at, followed by Ian at five, shocking right? The calm and composed giant, not so calm and composed around her. Then Cale at four and half. The half is for getting her annoyed and only being called an idiot. Then me at three. The only thing she yells at me for is that fucking glass wall, so I will consider this as a win. And finally and unexpectedly, Cole at only once. The playboy and trouble maker of the group got yelled at only once today and for not wearing proper safety gear when working. The one that should have the highest amounts of scoldings has the least, just what the hell is going on.

"Stop treating me like I'm made of glass. You probably learned by now that I tell you when I want to rest. I hate it when people treat me like I am about to break any second or like I am a fragile little thing. I might be sick but I'm more capable of doing my tasks than very healthy people I know. I know you care and you are worried but please believe me when I say I'm fine." Samara says loudly enough for everyone to hear, no anger or heat in her tone just genuine feelings.
