"What do you mean?" Questions Dominic looking down at her, pissed. "Did you let her run? What if she came back and hurt somebody else!?" He whisper yell the last part as he looks in her eyes.

"I am sure you tried finding her after you got healed and were all better, but did you find her?" She questions, looking at him with challenge.

A subtle head shake is his answer as he keeps staring her down.

"That's because I have her under lock and key waiting for you to do with her whatever you please. It wasn't my place to decide her fate." She says standing straighter and walking a little inside the room.

"You may want to ask why I did that," she continues looking around at us. We all nod our heads, wanting to know the answer. "I did it because if you found her when your pain was still new you would end things faster for her. But she deserves a painful slow death that will make her regret every last breath she took on this earth knowing what she did to you."

Silence.

Complete fucking silence.

We stare at her for what feels like eternity until she breaks eye contact to look at dad.

"Uncle, can I have you for a second?" She asks biting her luscious lips.

Dad gets up without any questions and follows her towards the kitchen.

I go back to my seat and sit down in disbelief.

Where do I even start thinking about all of this? This woman is the reason why my family is alive and sitting with me in this room, but how do we go about things now?

Fuck. I don't know how to feel above this.

I look around to see everyone is back to their spot with thoughtful faces. I sink back to my mind trying to make things make sense.

After about two minutes Mariposa and dad come back in the room. Dad takes his seat next to mom and Mariposa looks around for an empty seat, but the only empty seating area left in the room is between Ian and Dominic.

Sighing, Mariposa makes her way towards them, perching her sweet ass between them with a quiet "excuse me."

She looks a little better now. She has more colour in her face, but she still looks exhausted as she leans all the way back in the couch her shoulders squeezed in between Ian's and Dominic's, placing her hands on her lap and relaxing her body.

She looks like a kid between my giant brothers, its comical.

I chuckle to myself, but it looks like I wasn't the only one that thought this was funny. The twins are snickering quietly and Ian and Dom are grinning from ear to ear.

"Oh shut the fuck up. I know you are laughing about my size." Mariposa says on pout scrunching her face. So fucking adorable.

We all laugh at her annoyed expression.

"So," she starts gaining our attention. "I don't know how much Uncle and Auntie told you, but I will follow with my promise and answer the questions I can."

There is a lot of questions to ask, but I decide to start with the most important one.

"Do you really save trafficked kids and women?" I ask looking at her.

She tenses a little before giving me curt nod followed by a quiet "yes."

"Isn't a dangerous job? Why did you decide to do it?" I ask knowing I might be pushing some boundaries. But I don't like the idea of her being in danger.
