Dominic

Something strange is happening to our dad. He has this look of worry on his face that he tries to hide from us. Its been a week since the ordeal with the shipment and since then he looks uneasy.

I am not sure if it is because of the trap and the spies we have or because of something else. Dad was never scared of fighting or dying so the spies shit is out of the picture for now. Considering how he didn't hide his emotions from those boys last week and how he shared his worried expression with them makes me think there is something else going on.

And right now I am going to go get some answers. A lot of answers. Yeah. A lot of fucking answers.

We have a meeting with dad in his office in five minutes, and I am so asking him what the hell is happening. After, of course. I don't want my head chopped out and served for dinner. No body dares to interrupt the king of the Bratva when he has something to say, not even his own kids.

I am currently walking to his home office in our mansion with Storm strolling behind me holding his bone in his mouth. I promised him to take him on a walk with Amarok after the meeting, and now I have a happy 100 ish pound puppy wagging his tale excitedly as he follows me.

Once I reach the office I knock twice before opening the door and going in, Storm following suit.

Looks like I am the last to arrive, as I see all my brothers sprawled around the room in different seating positions. Ian is sitting in front of dad's desk with his legs spread and his torso leaned all the way back on the chair. Asher is sitting opposite of Ian on the other chair in front of the desk. He has his right ankle on his left knee with his right elbow resting on the desk. The twins are sprawled out in odd positions on the couch that is on the right side of the room. Im not even going to try and interrupt that. Idiots.

Storm walks past me and goes to lay by my dad's feet. I hear an excited yep and I know Amarok is there as well. These two get along better than me and my brothers and they are two totally different species.

I hear dad chuckle as he get his face licked by Storm. "Hey buddy, I missed you too," he says scratching his favourite area behind his ear. Amarok gets up and lick the other side of his face. Dad's chuckle turns into laughter as he strokes both dogs. Well, a dog and a wolf but it's the same. They act the same way anyways.

"You too boy, you too," he scratches them some more before patting their heads in a sign to sit down.

"So, what are we here for father?" Asks Asher in a calculating voice as he turns to face dad. We usually plan meetings together but today dad called us and told us that we have a meeting in an hour. Dad only calls emergency meetings on the same day but he is so calm that I don't think that this is an emergency. Or he is waiting for our reaction to decide if this is an emergency.

"Did you find anyone to complete the panic room in the warehouse?" He says looking at us in a very serious way.

Shit. Something is happening for sure.

"Dad, why are you asking about the panic room now? You said to take our time to make sure we get a good company to prevent any breakdowns." Questions Ian as he sit straighter.

Ian never questions dad's decision or choices but it looks like he sensed something is off as well.

"What aren't you telling us father?" Asher adds looking at dad then Ian and back.

Sighing father types something into his computer as he talks, "you remember the boys that delivered the shipment to us last week?" He asks looking at us. We all give a nod and he continues, "they called me an hour ago and told me that they have all spies figured out. They also know what they are planning and when those plans will take place. They sent me encrypted files that only I can open including all the information." He turns the computer so its facing us now.

Even I can tell that this an incredible work. The files have text messages, pictures, maps, documents, and much more.

"Wow, this is amazing. Cole and me couldn't even find half of this and we spent the last 6 months sleeping on the computers." Cale explains with amazement in his voice.

Cole nods in agreement looking at the computer with awe filled eyes.

And here I thought my twin brothers are the best out there with retrieving information and dealing with the internet.

"Now, according to these files and the information the boys told me, the fuckers are planning to raid our weapons' warehouse in a week." Dad continues looking at us with calculating eyes. "To steal out new guns apparently. Guns that no one should know about expect us, the main dealer, and the quadruplets."

"Is this why you'r asking about the panic room?" I ask from my position behind Asher's chair.

"Yes, we need to setup that room as soon as possible. We can't risk losing our weapons to the enemy and they are moving fast. Now that we know their plans we need to act faster than them or this will turn into a blood bath." He says turning his computer back to face him.

"I still haven't found a proper company to finish the room. They were all lacking." Asher scoffs crossing his arms over his chest.

"If we go by your standards, we won't get anything done," murmurs Ian causing the twins to snort and Asher to glare at them.

"Do you trust me boys?" Asks father suddenly his face getting more serious.

"With our lives," we answer in union.

"I know somebody more than qualified for this job. And I don't want any questions about them. You will just have to trust me on this. I will call them and tell them to come tomorrow " he says clasping his hands in front of him on the desk.

"Is it the boys that bought the shipment?" Ian asks quietly. Always the logical one. Good one brother.

"They are related to them." Answers dad in a way that says end of discussion.

"Fath-," starts Asher, but gets interrupted by dad. "Stop son, please. I promised to keep their privacy. You will meet them tomorrow anyways and you can ask them all the questions you want."

Sighing Asher nods his head curtly.

Silence falls upon us and I decide that this is my chance to feed my curiosity, "dad, what is happening with you? You have been acting very weird in the last couple of weeks. You are behaving with strangers the same way you behave and act with us. Strangers that we have never seen before. The king of bratva is heartless and cruel to everyone except his family. He is a ruthless criminal just like his sons. You are hiding things from us. We made an oath to never keep secrets between us, but you are breaking it right now by not telling us who these people are and what is your relation to them."

Dad looks at me and there is a flash of sadness in his eyes, its gone before I can comprehend it was there.

The fuck? What was that for?

As he opens his mouth to answer, Cole interrupts him with a wide look in his eyes, "wait, wait wait wait. The way you were acting with them, could it be..., dad, are they our relatives in any way?? Could it be that uncle Govan have illegitimate kids!!??"

Cale looks at Cole like he holds today's wisdom in his hands. Fucking idiot nerds.

Dad palms his face, realising a long sigh he says, "no Cole, we have zero relation to them. In fact, we have two completely different nationalities. I thought you were smarter than that son, try harder next time."

He looks at me, "And Dom, son, I will tell you everything in time. But to keep all your minds at ease, they are the people that saved me and your mother three and a half years ago from that tampered car accident."

Oh. My. God.
