We all run the to the door of the safe room in panic as we take in her horror filled face.I reach her first and shove her behind my back, blocking her from any danger. Aiming my gun in the direction of the door.
"What happened? What's wrong?" Asks Asher his eyes wide as he comes to stand next to me, gun in hand.
We relax a little when we don't see anything inside, lowering our guns.
I turn to face her, "what's wrong? What did you see?"
She walks around me and to the panic room. We look at each other confused as we follow her inside.
"This," she moves her hand in a circular motion inside the room. "This room is what's wrong!" She says furiously as she stomps around checking it out with a cute frown on her face.
She is so adorable when she is angry. Her little short legs stomp on the floor like she is giving it a massage. Absolutely adorable.
I try to hold in my smile but she catches me. "What the heck are you smiling about? I'm serious, this room needs a complete makeover!" She yells at me like I am a little kid.
God, this women is like an angry chihuahua but much cuter.
As I try to hold my laugh, to prevent any further scolding, I hear Ash asking, "why? Whats wrong with it?" his brows dipping to his eyes and a frown on his face.
"First of all, the location of this room in the warehouse is absolutely wrong. People would die trying to get to it. This is a panic room in a warehouse not a fucking house, the location should be strategical and easy enough to find, not hidden. Second, who the fuck puts a glass shield, that is not even bulletproof and that locks after activating the room button, in a fucking panic room! This is not a freaking jewelry store!! Its not functional, not safe, and a total waste of space and material." She explains pointing to the automatic sliding glass shields after the door in a couple of meters.
"Also, who the fuck lost his last two brain cells to hire this company!" She continues pointing to the logo of the company we hired.
"They literally give you garbage service and rob your money. Even the material is tampered with. This whole room should be made with reinforced steel, which is impossible to break through, but this is regular iron that rusts over the years. Whoever hired this company needs to do some serious consideration about their life choices." She finishes on a huff.
All it takes us is 20 seconds to burst out laughing as we look at Asher that looks like a deer in headlights.
Our perfect leader, with the perfect choices regarding business is being called out by a tiny little chihuahua like angry woman.
The twins can't stop laughing at the idea of Ash being wrong. Ian is leaning against the wall as her tries to look subtle while laughing. And dad is clapping Ash on the back as he wipes laughter tears from his eyes.
Mariposa looks confused between us until realization hit her. Her eyes widening.
"Sorry not sorry, Asher. This is your safety we are taking about here and you should've found a better company." She says softly on a sigh as she looks at him.
Then she turns and glares at dad, "I told you that I can do it for you, Uncle. And you know I wouldn't offer if I couldn't. Look what your stubbornness did, old man."
She walks deeper into the room inspecting it closely. "At least you thought to stack it with necessities." She murmurs as she opens the cabinets at the back.
I see Dad motioning towards me and asking me to grab her attention.
I shake my head, no. I'm not asking to be killed. No thank you.
