We all stare at our dad with open jaws. That night three years and a half ago was a living hell. We never bring it up in a casual talk.

After the accident in two minutes the car blew up. We lost all hope in dad and mom being alive at all. We watched the footage hundreds of time and we never saw them escape. That night a lot of people lost their lives.

We could tell from the footage that the car was tampered with. Cale and I hacked our way through the web and found who did it. We killed them and we also killed the person that sent them, after knowing who they were.

We made a funeral for our parents and did all the traditions they do to dead people. Only to get the shock of our lives three months after.

It was near midnight when we heard the door bell ring in our mansion. We came out of our rooms on high alert, weapons in hand. We weren't expecting anyone at that forsaken hour.

Catching the live feed of the camera on my phone, I bolted to the front door, Cale hot on my heals. We heard yelling and cursing behind us as we dashed to the front door.

I didn't even take a moment to think if it was real, I undid the locks and bolts and threw the door open.

There they were. Our mother and father standing in front of us with expressions I couldn't make out.

Mom launched herself on me and hugged the life out of me, tears already soaking my shirt. Dad grabbed Cale in a tight hug relief visible on his face and glossy eyes looking at me. His hand reaching out to raffle my hair.

We are the most ruthless individuals in this world. But we love and care about our family unconditionally. We would die for each other. The day we thought we lost our parents, something broke inside of us and we never were the same again.

Ian, Asher, and Dominic came rushing to the door asking what the fuck happened. Storm and Amarok rushed passed them and tackled mom and dad to the ground making them release us from their death grip.

"What the fuc-," started Dominic but stoped abruptly as he took the sight in front of him.

After hugging and making sure everyone was fine, we started to drill our parents with questions.

"Okay, okay, calm down. We will tell you everything we can." Said mom looking around at us longingly.

"What do you mean by what you can?" Asked Asher holding her hand in his. We were all sitting around them touching them in one way or another. We needed to make sure they were real.

"We promised the person that saved us that we won't tell anyone who they are and where they took us to treat our injuries. We owe them that much at least. But we will tell you that the car was tampered with, they found out who did it for us" dad said from his position next to mom.

"We already took care of them dad, no need to worry," assures Ian.

No matter how much we pressed for them to tell us who helped them, we came up empty.

After that, we barely bought that night up. We needed to forget that nightmare. As a result, we had so many unanswered questions.

And the fact that dad bought up that night and told us the we will be meeting their saver tomorrow means he wants us to trust them. Just like he trusted them with his and mom's lives, which makes sense. They literally saved their lives.

"Dad, we trust your decisions. And we trust the people that saved you even more. We won't push for any answers or explanations." Asher says getting up from his seat to stand next to dad, his hand on his shoulder.

Asher only calls him dad when his emotions are getting the best of him. Bringing that night up stirs unwanted feelings and memories for all of us.

"That doesn't mean I won't be asking questions." Chimes in Dominic challenging Asher.

"I agree with Dom. There is just a lot of questions that need answers and only your mysterious saviour seems to be able to answer them." Ian adds supporting Dom's statement.

I agree with them too. We need answers. A lot of them. Who are they? What is the limit of their knowledge? How do they have said knowledge? What do they do? What are their resources? How many of them are there? Are they truly our allies or are there hidden intentions? And much, much more questions.

"You can ask them whatever you want to know, but if they refuse to answer you will drop the topic." Dad says looking around at us seriously. He pauses on Dom for a second before standing up and looking around at us again and pausing on Dom longer this time, "I repeat, you will drop the topic if they don't want to answer, or you will deal with my wrath. I don't care how old you are, you will get your ass handed to you if you don't respect their boundaries."

Well, we are fucked.

If dad threatens you, he will follow his threats through.

With Dom's aggressive nature to strangers, his ass will be wiped out in no time tomorrow. Gulp. I don't want to clean my brother's body off of our warehouse concrete floor. That shit is hard to clean. The blood that gets in the cracks is impossible to clean.

I will have to ask dad to do it on the grass. More vitamins for the plants and less cleaning for me.

Yup, thats a brilliant idea. I am a real genius.

"And you may get your ass handed to you before I even try to interfere, so be aware. I warned you." He leaves the room on a chuckle.

I gape after him. "What the fuck is that supposed to mean!?" Questions Dom as he motions towards father.

We all ignore him as we filter out of the room one by one leaving him behind as he mumbles to himself.
