Taehyung was healing pretty fast since he was young and healthy. The school year started but he called to school to explain why he wouldn’t attend classes for the first month or so and the professors were very understanding.

He was spending time in the house but he was getting bored. Jungkook told him about how he was gonna be protected, that he wouldn’t go anywhere by himself and even though he didn’t really like that idea, it was reasonable. He knew Seojoon would probably go after him, trying to finish him.

The whole gang was working on trying to come up with some effective plan how to wipe out Seojoon’s gang once and for all. It was smaller than Jeongguk’s but there were some good killers in it, Jungkook would know since most of them were part of his gang before they deserted with Seojoon. They were all bunch of traitorous bitches so he honestly didn’t mind killing them all.

Taehyung was spending lots of time with Yoongi. His older brother spent every free minute with him because now when he almost lots Taehyung, he wanted to have as much time with him as possible. When Yoongi was away or asleep, he was with Jungkook. It was great and all but Taehyung was slowly losing his mind because the boss still treated him like he was made of sugar and Taehyung was getting horny as hell. He needed Jungkook to touch him, to fuck him senseless because that’s what he’s always loved.

One afternoon, almost everyone was gone, doing their thing. They got some lead on Seojoon so even Jungkook and Yoongi left and only few men stayed in the house for Taehyung’s protection, including Seokjin. Taehyung has noticed over the year of living there that Seokjin didn’t go into actions as often as the others. Jimin once told him that Seokjin was a great manipulator and he was also quite good with computers so he was often working from behind the scenes but Taehyung had suspicion that it was partly Namjoon’s doing. That night when he overheard Jungkook and Namjoon speaking about Jaehyun, they also talked about how Namjoon was scared to lose his other half so maybe they were leaving him behind also for this reason.

He was given some home work from school so his absence could be dismissed. He was sick of being in his room since he’s been lying there for so long so he made the big kitchen table his work place. After a while, Seokjin came and got into baking, humming a song under his breath. It was actually really peaceful, Taehyung liked how his nostrils were filled with delicious smell.

“Hyung?” Taehyung put down a pen, hesitant if he should bring up the topic.

“Yeah?” Seokjin didn’t even turn to look at him, busy in the kitchen.

“Jungkook told me about Jaehyun,” the younger said carefully. He saw Seokjin’s shoulders tense for a second before the elder turned around, cleaning his hands from the flour.

“Did he?” Seokjin looked at him.

“I am sorry, hyung, I didn’t know you had a brother. It must have been really hard for you, I can’t imagine losing Yoongi-hyung,” Taehyung looked at him sympathetically.

“Yeah well, it’s not something I talk about with…well, anyone, really,” Seokjin sighed: “It’s been ten years but it still hurts. Don’t get me wrong, I know what Jaehyun was like, I didn’t have any illusions about him but…he was still my baby brother.”

“No, I get it, really,” Taehyung reassured him. Even if Jaehyun was a psychopath like Jungkook said, he was still Seokjin’s brother so losing him had to be hard.

“Do I remind you of him as well?” the blonde asked quietly.

“Kinda,” Seokjin nodded: “Especially when you were younger, years ago when I met you for the first time, it was almost like Jaehyun was standing in front of me, it was actually pretty freaky,” Seokjin chuckled but then continued: “But now when you’re getting older, the resemblance is not that big anymore. And you do have some similar personality traits but…you are nicer and especially natural.”
