Taehyung was worried what it would be like to have BamBam and Yugyeom around at school but it turned out that it was actually pretty fun. He’s always liked them but the thought of having gangsters around him all the time was a bit weird but they were huge crackheads and they were actually quite enjoying going to school so it was great. Everyone was questioning how the hell those two got into the art major since they both quite literally sucked in anything connected to art. That just showed how great Jungkook’s connections were, it was actually kinda scary that the boss had influence also at university.

“Gotta say that I was really sceptical about the whole going back to school thing, considering we’ve graduated like four years ago but it’s fun,” BamBam commented after the first weeks of school as they were sitting in the cafeteria. Only the three of them were sitting together so it was safe to speak.

“How did you even get to the gang anyway?” Taehyung asked with interest. He’s known them basically since he came to live with them but he never asked this.

“We’ve been best friends since middle school,” Yugyeom started, mouth full of rice.

“And we both had shitty parents,” BamBam continued. Well, that was what most gangsters had in common, most of them got sucked in illegal activities due to shitty childhood and teenage years so it wasn’t really surprising.

“It somehow happened, when we were nineteen, we ended up in Jungkook’s gang,” BamBam added.

“We’ve been training ever since but it’s not like we go to the real action often. I mean, we are nowhere near the level of some other gang members, like your brother or Hoseok or Jackson and so on. And definitely miles far away from Jungkook or Namjoon who started training probably since they were able to walk,” Yugyeom snickered.

“So you don’t mind being my personal baby sitters?” Taehyung bit his lip, he was really nervous about that, he didn’t want them to be annoyed.

“Are you kidding? It’s great, at least we are outside, we normally do most of work from the house. And here with you is a possibility of some action, if someone wanted to come for your ass,” BamBam grinned, hand absent-mindedly slipping under his jacket to feel the small gun there.

“Yeah, that’s really exciting,” Taehyung rolled his eyes. Ever since he got together with Jungkook, he liked action and adrenaline but after he was nearly killed, he thought it wouldn’t be bad to take a step back from it. He was sure that he would eventually go with Jeongguk in some action but even though he didn’t mind violence, he preferred calmer actions, he would be fine with just some seducing and slight manipulation like at the beginning.

“Don’t worry, we might not be as good as half of the gang but we are not useless, nothing will happen to you, not on our watch,” BamBam looked at him seriously and Taehyung felt better and worse at the same time. Better because he knew he was safe but worse because he didn’t want anything to happen to the two guys because of him. The idea of someone being his bodyguard, basically instructed to take a bullet for him didn’t sit well with him.

“Anyway, what about you and Jungkook?” Yugyeom asked nonchalantly. Taehyung choked on his soda.

“W-what do you mean?” Taehyung blinked. Only couple of people closest to him and Jungkook knew about their relationship.

“Please, maybe most of people haven’t noticed but we are not dumb,” Yugyeom rolled his eyes: “We are guarding house at night pretty often, we’ve seen you leaving and coming together, whether it was the gym or from outside. We also know that it was Jungkook who brought you home when you were shot even though you told everyone it was Seokjin, why would you lie about that?”
