Taehyung decided to go to the atelier at school to work on a painting. He was behind with his school work due to his absence at the beginning of the year due to the injury so he needed to work. But he was fine with it because art was taking his mind off all the drama.

Things haven’t cooled down in the house. It’s been a month since Yoongi found out about him and Jungkook and two weeks since his encounter with the boss in the motel and he hasn’t spoken to him since then since Yoongi was always around. Thankfully Jimin came like a knight in the shining armour, giving him some old, spare phone so he and Jungkook were occasionally communicating at least like that but usually only at night because Taehyung didn’t dare to risk Yoongi finding out.

He was giving his hyung a cold shoulder, both of them were stubborn because Yoongi was still mad at Taehyung for getting involved with Jungkook and Taehyung was still upset about Yoongi holding him away from his lover. Yoongi was trying to engage in conversations but Taehyung had none of that bullshit. He wasn’t up for chatting about casual stuff and pretend like nothing happened. He missed his hyung, he missed talking to him since they’ve always been so close but he was tired of his judgemental looks and his treatment, as if Taehyung was still a stupid child.

He was supposed to go to the atelier with BamBam and Yugyeom since the two gangsters were basically his personal bodyguards but Seokjin came last minute to tell them that they were needed at some gang task and sent Lee with him instead. Taehyung really didn’t know the guy that much, he’s seen him around and they’ve talked couple of times and he seemed cool but he didn’t really care who was with him, he was going to paint anyway.

It was nice to get out of the house due to the tense atmosphere and for once, Yoongi wasn’t bitching about it because Jungkook and the closest members had some meeting going on so Yoongi wanted Taehyung out so he wouldn’t overhear something.

He stayed in the atelier for hours and when he finished his second painting, it was already evening and everyone was gone, except for the guard in the booth by the entrance.

“Lee-hyung?” Taehyung walked out on the corridor, looking around for the gangster. The guy was out here most of the time, just sitting on his phone, obviously bored and kinda annoyed that he had to babysit the boss’ lover but he was nowhere to be seen now.

Taehyung went to the coffee automat to see if he wasn’t there but the whole floor was eerily empty and dimly lit. He started having a bad feeling about this, suddenly uneasy.

He looked in every classroom or atelier on the floor but Lee was nowhere to be seen. He wouldn’t just leave, would he? Surely not, he’d know he’d get in trouble for leaving Taehyung unguarded and alone.

Then it hit him that maybe he was outside because he was a smoker. That calmed him down little bit but his gut was still telling him to stay cautious.

He was so caught up in his thought that he didn’t notice the guard booth by the entrance was empty, the TV still on as he made his way to the door. It was locked and password had to be typed in for people to get in and out at this hour and Taehyung didn’t dare to go out so he just looked outside through the glass, looking for the gangster.

He didn’t spot Lee but then he froze when he noticed two black cars with tinted windows parked in front of the school. One man was standing outside, looking in his direction. Thankfully it didn’t look like he saw him since the inside of the building was mostly dark but that didn’t calm Taehyung down. He knew what was happening, he’s been around the gang for long enough to recognize a gangster. A gangster that didn’t belong to Jungkook’s gang, he was Seojoon’s man and there were probably more inside the cars.

He started internally panicking but then he took couple of deep breaths, forcing himself to calm down and clear his mind. He had to stay strong right now.
