Taehyung was miserable.

It’s been days since Jungkook was taken and they still didn’t have any leads on where he might be. He still didn’t manage to turn on the locator and Taehyung was honestly scared. Jimin tried to comfort him, telling him that if Seojoon killed Jungkook, he’d surely brag about it to the whole Korean underworld because killing Jeon Jungkook would be a huge thing. That didn’t console Taehyung very much though.

Namjoon and the others contacted other gangs in hopes to find some help. There were few gangs that weren’t on good terms with them, that would be happy if Jungkook died but surprisingly lots of them were willing to help find the infamous boss because they have been on quite good terms with him, everyone minding their own dirty business. And it turned out that almost everyone hated Seojoon because he’s been fucking up their businesses so it was inconvenient for them to let him take Jungkook down.

Surprisingly, it worked. One evening, a car came to the boarders of their property with two gangsters, telling them they had a gift from their boss, taking out a tied up man, one of Seojoon’s members.

They immediately took him in to question him, taking turns in the basement, trying to break him.

Taehyung almost never left his room, he was lying in his bed ninety percent of the time, just staring out of the window, dressed up in nothing but one of Jungkook’s shirts to feel his lover close. He almost didn’t eat, leaving the food the others were bringing to him untouched. He didn’t care about anything and anyone as long as Jungkook was gone.

“Just pull your head out of your ass and go see him!” Jimin snapped at Yoongi one evening. Since they came home after the incident, Yoongi hasn’t gone to see his little brother. He was the one who held him and comforted him when they took Jungkook but since then, he hasn’t done anything to console him. He was still stubborn, refusing to comfort Taehyung about Jungkook because he still didn’t agree with their relationship.

“I know you are hurt that he held it away from you for so long, babe, but he needs you now. You are his hyung, it’s your duty to take care of him and he is miserable now,” Hoseok joined in to try to convince their boyfriend.

“This is not about him holding it away from me!” Yoongi snapped: “Yeah, it pissed me off but I can see why he didn’t tell me. I just don’t wanna support something that’s toxic for him.”

“What the fuck is toxic for him?” Jimin yelled: “Yoongi, Jungkook literally chose Taehyung’s life over his own, if that doesn’t scream love then I don’t know what does. He is not using him, what they have is real and Tae is now miserable because he is scared he’ll lose him. Just put yourself in his shoes, how would you feel if me or Hobi were taken, huh?”

“That’s different,” the oldest grumbled.

“No, it’s not, they love each other just like we do,” Jimin retorted.

“Look, it doesn’t matter now if you support it or not. Right now none of that matters, if Jungkook dies, you won’t have to worry about it, our job now is to get him back and then you can sulk again or choose to act mature and have a conversation about it. But Jimin is right, you need to go see Taehyung, you are the only one who can comfort him now, you are his only family,” Hoseok jumped in again, giving Yoongi a pointed look that always managed to make Yoongi squirm little bit. Hoseok could be scary when he wanted to.

“He doesn’t even eat, baby, you need to help him and show him that you are on his side, that you still care,” Jimin put a hand on his shoulder gently.

“Of course I still care, I will never stop caring about him,”

“Then show him,” Jimin urged him.
